>>524187170>Clint Warren-DaveyHoly hell, small world seeing one of my favorite board game developers quoted here. Dude makes fantastic games and isn't usually political. He's more a "realist" than based.Which I suppose are ostensibly the same thing.
Indians defeated Alexander.
>>524187170Would definitely be a tie between china and Romans. Realistically romans would loose because they’d be the ones trying to expand while china would be dealing with how to feed a billion people like every couple decades. It’s really a case of who tries to move on the others turf. I don’t think any of them at their height had the ability to invade and conquer the other.
I’ve never seen any historian even list ‘The Peacock’ as a factor. India was too disjointed and divided to even be considered a unified entity till the British organized it as a country. There were some religious strains that affected other parts of the world, but it wasn’t an expanding ‘empire’ that had a lot of influence.
>>524189671This is the answer. Just like in real history, empires would extend to natural, defensible borders somewhere in the borderlands between the two. Between Rome and India it would probably be somewhere around the Iranian plateau. Also, there would be no significant conflict between China and India because there’s a giant fucking uncrossable mountain range on that border
