One billion were killed due to communism alone. That ideology holds the highest death toll unless you count religion in general.
>>
>>524191456
it's a linguistics joke where in people will associate the word kiki with sharp pointed things and bouba with the rounded things. i think something like with regard to red and blue for political parties. republican is associated with red but ive always thought of republican as being a blue word, also the color grey with an "e" seems more grey to me than gray with an "a".

Boba tea was invented as a joke in order to provide a serious choking hazard for weebs.

It's for women. The sugar gives them energy. The round things fill their stomachs stops them being hungry.
Ideally they like it a bit undercooked so they don't digest it.

yeah this too. it's dumb all around
>>
>>524191647
there is something deeper behind it, too, but that's less pop science. just look at related letters like T and D or K, C, and G, even P and B. the "softer" one will always be rounder.
one has to remember that language existed before writing, so we chose the letters to represent these sounds, not the other way around.

weren't the republicans gigacucks before the 60s or so? they just never changed the color

I always wrote it "grey" -- is that a British spelling? I read a lot of British children's authors when I was a kid

yes it is the british spelling. i use grey purely for the aesthetics of the word in relation to the color.

well to give you the bottom line up front, i have been writing a book. it is a post apoc story set in the early middle ages. an alternate/speculative historical fiction about anglo saxon exiles settling in "dark age" new england. it draws from the old english poems The Wanderer, The Husbands Message, and the Seafarer as well as draws inspiration from old westerns. i am writing the book entirely with words of english derivation, no latin or french. as a result, i have come to understand modern english in a very different way.
for example
>nearly all words beginning "th" will be english
>words beginning with "wh" are english
>words with "sk" in them are likely to be old norse
>no old english words begin with j, v, x, or z
>words with prefix be-, for-, fore- mis-, out-, over-, under- will be english

I just found out that boba is called that because it's an asian word for breasts.
kind of interesting that different cultures end up calling it "boobie" or "bobas" or "göğüs."

is it because those sound particularly "round?"
or because babies make those sounds and breasts are for babies?
