I used to be an “alpha male” type like you guys. I was edgy I was right wing, I thought that if I ever had a gay kid I would disown them and I would be the man of the house and everything would be my way. But as you get older you realize that’s a fantasy. Life doesn’t work that way unless you’re extremely wealthy and build a network around that. In the real world if you’re a normal dude you will have to make compromises.Or example, I vote Conservative but I have a daughter who was born a boy and is on hormones. I love her very much and just want to make her feel accepted and happy in life.
