It's 4x4 meters net when fully unfolded. It does have a point because it is so big it can actually work, it doesn't require pin point accuracy.

I was wondering the other night why every ak-47 didn't have an under barrel not launcher. Like would be easy

So the next thing is now for drones to have some sort of sharp appartus to cut the nuts.

they will have vehicles or anti drones flying around waiting to pounce on drones.

russia uses 100x more drones than ukraine does, russia is an industrialized nation and can mass produce them, ukraine requires handouts from NATO to keep itself supplied

When this war is over you'll slowly find out all the 10:1 kill ratios ukraine brags about have been in russia's favor
NATO is essentially a paper tiger - great PR and brainwashing, but that doesn't actually translate to battlefield success

>For many moons I had resisted taking the netpill, but now I kneel before netchads...they were right all along.
Nigger, I've been saying this since day 1. Day fucking 1. I was a foreign volunteer with the Kurdish Peshmerga during the ISIS conflict and they were dropping munitions with DJI off the shelf drones into Humvee turrets and the back of Hiluxs been then and I said that's what we needed. My idea was to get a line throwing gun (yes, we tried to secure a couple from an old Iraqi Navy dude, but he ended up being full of shit, big surprise) and to stuff it with a laundry bag (the net kind). Never came to fruition but here we are.
>>

>>
>>524206882
Nets were always the way
>>
>>524213332
yeah they're flimsy plastic so not hardened at all, hence why birdshot is far preferrable
>>
>>524206882

Wont work.
Even if you somehow are alert enough to find a drone moving at 70mph and get your net gun ready, aim and shoot the drone, it is still going to explode and injure or kill you.
Just remember, grenades are an almost guaranteed kill at 5 meters, and can still kill or severely injure at 15 meters. Which is way longer than the range in this video.

And even if you do somehow shoot down the drone without injuring or killing yourself, you'll just have another drone on your ass in 5 seconds anyway because they don't just send out a single drone, they come in groups.
>>
>>524211065
no, drones are harder to kill than animals with a gun, you have hit the chip or the rotors in such a way that they can't fly on. But the rotor are notoriously easy to entangle in a net, therefore this net gun is much more accurate because each shot that hits, immediately disable the drone
>>
>>524206882
Look up kiwi footage of hunting deer from helicopters with net guns. It was all privately funded in the worlds most expensive country to operate in too

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bKWvsS-z9PU&pp=0gcJCR4Bo7VqN5tD
>>
>>524213823
What happens at scale though?
How many fewer serious injuries, deaths, destroy pieces of equipment, etc?

If "there's another drone in 5 minutes", you've halved the effectiveness of Russia's drone operations.
>>
>>524209217
yeah a shotgun can disable it from up to 30 yards, while that net thing is maybe 15-18 yards.
>>
>>524213823
why would it immediately explode? Until the signal is back at the operator and he had a chance to react, the drone is already off course and maybe already on the ground
>>
>>524213666
Someone should do a youtube video of shotgun vs fps drones, I'd say duck hunters would get them easily but normies wouldn't even people with a lot of range time.

But add the fatigue of weeks on the battlefield and the fear of the drone having a fucking bomb strapped to it and it would be a lot harder
>>
>>524214078
The net hitting it would have a pretty good chance of hitting it's detonator

>Yeah, you're such a moral person. That's why you're outraged by drone operators and fantasize about torturing them...because of how good you are.

He is, actually. Drone pilots are soldiers too, after all. And with the way these drones maim a soldier and leave him to bleed out, screaming in pain, I would say it's perfectly justified to skin a drone pilot alive. Although I've heard being boiled alive is far worse. A good man is one of the worst people you want to meet on a battlefield.
