The next day 20 sicarios arrived and asked him once again to surrender. He said no. The leader fired a warning shot next to his foot and in return Don Alejo swiftly shot and killed the leader and another hitman before taking cover. After this, a 4 hour gun fight involving grenades ensued, in which 2 more sicarios were killed. Some of them were reported to have been frozen in shock which contributed to the time the standoff lasted. Eventually, realizing the police/military would arrive, the cartel thugs spammed grenades at the house one last time and fled (like bitches). The next day when the authorities arrived, they found the bodies of 4 Los Zetas foot soldiers and one Don Alejo in his bathroom. He was dead on scene, sustaining numerous gun shot and explosive wounds, but still holding on to his rifle; which was aimed at the door.We need more people like Don Alejo in our world. RIP the GOAT
