So either the AI is a scam, the bubble is gonna pop, killing the economy. America will be vulnerable and Russia and China make their move against america in taiwan, eastern europe etc.

OR

We will have AGI so most people will be out of a job and the economy will be fucked that way and life will not be worth living for anyone but the elite.
>>
Most jobs are already just glorified adult daycare

Can AI do plumbing?
Can AI clean a toilet?
Can AI Tell a mexican what to do?
>>
>>524243978
I’ve been thinking the same thing, anon.
It’s those two, unless the second scenario involves us becoming slaves or mass murdered, it’s going to end bad economically in any case. And if not, the huge proportion of people left out of money/jobs are going to riot or something
>>
We're not getting AGI anytime soon, I'm not a faggot egghead but I've seen a lot of really convincing explanations as to why. If AGI is the endgame then it truly is a fucking scam.

they wouldn't even flinch
>>
global economic crash + cyber attack then CBDCs and UBI with China style social credit
>>
>>524244273
that was implied by the "killing the economy" part
>>
>>524244231
they have AGI behind closed doors but its limited, i dont think we have the compute power for most normies to actually use it.
Yet
asics and project genesis and stargate tho maybe the usa well idk
>>
>>524245017
stargate is just a privatization/automation of parts of glownigger surveillance
lol, handed straight to Altman and Gates
on the first day of his presidency

>So either the AI is a scam,
Its not.
>the bubble is gonna pop,
It will and strongest AI companies will buy whats left at cheap price.
>killing the economy.
Just another recession dumb nigger.

>We will have AGI so most people will be out of a job
This will take decades but it has already begun. Apply machine learning to robotics and you have blue collar jobs replaced.
>and the economy will be fucked that way
Economy would be booming as elites already make up 50% of all spending.
>and life will not be worth living for anyone but the elite.
This is true.
>>
>>524245179
>elites already make up 50% of all spending.
>the bulk majority of the US economy right now is a handful of billionaires moving a trillion dollars around between a dozen companies while insider trading on the moves

crazy that no one thought of this before some finnish animal on an image board... or maybe its not that straight forward?

It’s all so tiring, all I really know is there’s gonna be some bad years ahead. Sticking close to family is probably the best decision now. In the end, I do still have optimism that the world will become better when I’m in my 40s 50s. Whatever Pandora’s box we opened with the Internet and ai, I’ll probably enjoy the ride.
>>
>>524245360
not even what I was speaking on
chatGPT used to outright state it had a public and a private version the public couldn't access, that had real time info access (the public ones are intentionally kept like 2 years behind)
>>
>>524245390
The box was opened when we baseed our global economy on a fiat currency system. Our brains do not work beyond material based systems. You have to have finite currencies. If a government consistently prints infinite wealth and keeps giving it to corporations/banks/oligarchs than you don't have a functioning society.
>>
concidentally publicly accessible chatGPT got noticeably stupider overnight in January
right around the inauguration

started using phrases like "let's unpack this", which it had NEVER done before
>>
number 1 is on the slate....there is serious over optimism with "hope" for what ai can do and then what it can really do...

the answer depends on if you still want jewish created fiat money afterwards
>>
>what's the point of all this
to make short term gains on the stock market and artificially prop up an otherwise failing economy
anything else is secondary

I'm starting my plumbing apprenticeship next year. I wanted to be a teacher. Went to school for education to teach science. Not anymore. Teachers are already being replaced by computers in the classroom and soon schools will only have a handful of staff to monitor kids on chromebooks in the gymnasium. Fuck that.

It's similar to the tech-stock bubble that blew up in the late 1990's.

Back when the internet was new and uncharted territory, lots of venture capital went into tech stocks. Everybody knew the internet was going to be big, some how. They just didn't know which horses to bet on, so they just sprayed the entire space with venture capital.

Eventually things began to sort themselves out. Some people won and won big, but far more people lost a lot of money.

The same thing is happening in the AI space.
AI is in it's embryonic stage. It's far too early. No one really knows definitively how this is going to play out, but we all know it will in some form or fashion. Its just a matter of timing and betting on the right horses.

Everyone is being sucked into the space for fear of missing out.
As the space develops and matures, some people will win big, while many others will lose.

Yah but call me when AI can dig a ditch and replace a pipe.

most jobs have been bullshit for a long time
