https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_theater_hostage_crisis
> The 2002 Moscow theater hostage crisis, also known as the Nord-Ost siege, occurred between October 23 and October 26, 2002, when 40–50 armed Chechen rebels seized the Dubrovka Theater during a performance of the musical Nord-Ost. The crisis ended in a controversial rescue operation that resulted in the deaths of at least 130 hostages, almost all due to a chemical agent used by Russian special forces
> At approximately 5:00 a.m., Russian Spetsnaz (Alpha and Vympel units) pumped an incapacitating fentanyl-based aerosol gas into the theater's ventilation system to neutralize the militants before they could detonate explosives
> Once the gas took effect, special forces stormed the building, killing all the hostage-takers—many while they were unconscious
> While the raid prevented the theater from being blown up, at least 130 hostages died. Official reports later confirmed that all but a few of these deaths were caused by the gas and subsequent medical failures
> Despite the high civilian death toll, President Vladimir Putin's approval ratings surged following the event. The crisis served as a pretext for a massive military escalation in Chechnya and a crackdown on independent media like NTV
Do you agree with their methods

There was also recent Crocus Hall incident. When they had warning from USA, but their media ridiculed it.
Instead of police being on increased alert. When reports started to come in, they took their merry time, and arrived like an hour later.

It's the Russian way. Mass deaths are just part of life for them. It's been that way since the Mongols invaded
