Jeets of course could never figure this stuff out, but China's proximity to Taiwan allows them to quickly fill in knowledge gaps. There will be no easy way out of this for Western nations - they will either have to reach parity with Taiwan, and/or risk pissing off their own public by fighting trade wars with China which will flood the market with their own cheap shit.
