And how much is UBI, and does it scale based on cost of living? And ultimately how are we paying for all this?The answer would be to heavily tax AI, just like Trump doing with H-1Bs costing $100k per visa. So any AI system would have some tax or social security fee associated with it and paid to the government based on how much work (revenue) it generates. But good luck getting companies to agree to that.

It's one of those things that just keeps on getting better and will always get better regardless of the actual physical limitations such a device should logically have. What they actually want is a widget worker that demands nothing and will do anything. And they obviously don't want anyone else to have such devices, because that would mean they have competition.They want the platonic capitalist endgame: One organization that owns and does everything because it does everything better than anyone else. Owned by them, obviously. We will be allowed to survive to the degree that we usefully cooperate (although ultimately we will be considered redundant and disposed of).
