Most of the military guys I know partner with specialized lawyers to get as much disability as possible before their military period ends. Lots of doctor visits to document every possible thing to see if it aligns with injuries their job typically has. I imagine the VA offices are trained to push back too.It's a thin line between welfare queens and the abnormal shit they have to do on a regular basis.
