Everybody knows that athletes are just there to make money for the university (muh cawlidge footbawl) and so their academic output is... just fake. It doesn't matter. So when some speccy try-hard comes along and insists on actually enforcing standards, it constitutes what is known as an "isolated demand for rigour".
