"Sluggish schizophrenia" was a pseudodiagnosis created by Soviet psychiatrists, notably Andrei Snezhnevsky, used to label political dissidents as mentally ill, allowing their imprisonment in psychiatric hospitals for disagreeing with the state. It described a supposedly slow-progressing form of schizophrenia, but was defined so broadly it could include non-psychotic behaviors, effectively criminalizing dissent, and was never recognized by international medical bodies. While schizophrenia is a real, serious illness, "sluggish schizophrenia" was a tool of political repression, not a legitimate medical condition, a practice known as political abuse of psychiatry. why are bolsheviks (jews) like this?
