Both sets of parents are away this year which was much better, just me, gf and 3 kids. No interfering with cooking and no fat lumps taking up a seat and a plate of food. Did everything how we wanted, it was great.

Had to go through three humiliation rituals this year. I am not the type to argue with my family, but because I am the only son, amongst many sisters, and still I am the tallest and most handsome, the most intelligent yet the strongest amongst the entire family, i make my leftie sisters and family members seethe really hard and they just spit venom at me for... just being nice at them.
