Should it be illegal to gift electronica to kids under age 10?At Christmas this year all of my nieces and nephews and my cousins’ kids all received either iPads/Tablets or Nintendo switches as gifts. One of my nephews (who is seven years old) received a Gorilla VR headset. These kids don’t play outside. Their entire lives revolve around electronics. They’re exposed to an endless stream of dopamine and don’t know how to pretend play or any of that. Very poor social skills. No eye contact. No ability to make friends. I fear for them.
Parents just want to give their children something they want for Christmas and it ends up being a time sink. I think it's fine if you first establish hobbies and skills of a child. That way their devices can be secondary when they are bored instead of the first thing they go to.
>>524348883You would have denied me this as a child Ivan ?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDTJHM46H70
>>524349179grow up
>>524348883No, man. Parents should have the sense to raise their children correctly. Laws are for fags.
>>524349179I had that exact game.
>>524349179Not the same thing.
I bet you sat like a cuck looking at the floor before you ran to your room to post here. Speak up like a man
>>524351335I’m posting on my phone. I’m currently in my grandmother’s living room while everyone is watching TV.
>>524348883problem is that Fortnite is basically essential for them to make friends and spend time with them. i might be wrong but i think that most of that they play is multiplayer games anyways so it's not quite as bad but still worrying as the world gets shittier as it sees no reason to appeal to the kids who are just gonna play Fortnite all day anyways
>>524351454Yes. Fortnite and Roblox.
>>524348883I mean... those kids will likely be downloading roblox and the parents will be none the wiser. But these kids will meet people and have friends, they'll just bring their friends so they can play roblox next to eachother (this actually happens)
just make sure you know what your kids are doing. Its never been easier to be a groomer or meet minors for extortion than now. These com groups are sick.
>>524351613There’s a huge difference between IRL friendships and online ones.
>>524351756Yeah, true. But thats why we need more places for kids to be gaming. America needs gaming cafes, Gaming Arcades, More places for kids to interact with kids.
>>524348883What kind of parent allows their child to walk around with a niggercut like that?
>>524351899It looke nice. Like Early Patrick Mahomes. similar skin color too. Maybe this is Patrick mahomes. Also you shouldnt talk about kids Iike that.
>>524351842Or they can just play basketball.
>>524351899His mother’s IG is @jenesisgiselle in case you want to ask her yourself.
>>524348883all by design less real world interaction, less people skills, less ability to filter and parse information, and you end up with a citizenry that is programmable, malleable, and compliant.
>>524352147Not all kids can ball, parks are good too for the athletic kids. But gaming cafes would be amazing for all ages. Many gen z know about the "computer room" in highschool
>>524352219Yeah super true. No two people have the same internet experience, ads tailored for us to keep us interested. When people get together and can privately plan. Things get too communist.
>>524348883My nephew is 10 and can't read well, can't spell, and can't add beyond 10. He just guesses at everything eg what's 10+3 he will say 21. He mostly just plays Minecraft and VR and stuff. I feel bad for him, he's already given up on school and learning and calls himself stupid. His parents refuse to get him extra help (one parent is a teacher). I feel very bad for him. His autistic brother is 3 years younger but way more advanced in reading, spelling, and math stuff.
>>524348883Soccer-moms got rid of all the fun analog toys and giant metal play-grounds.Video games are all they have left.
