Why is the $2 dollar bill featuring Thomas Jefferson on the front and the signing of the Declaration of Independence on the back so scarce and rarely used? Cashiers rarely see them which makes it feel in someways that they’re discontinued or special or even scarcely printed. I paid for my entire sleeve with $2 bills. The bank teller had to go back to the vault and retrieve for the $2’s. My tattoo artist gave some to his kids and kept a few himself. They thought they really neat. I just don’t understand the low demand? I feel like they would be more efficient for everyday use compared to the $1. The $2 bill has some more practical and efficient uses in ways more than the $1 bill. One $2 bill = two $1 bills Less bulk in your wallet Faster counting for both payer and cashierWhat’s the deal?
>>524355122you can go to pretty much any bank and request 2s
>>524355122because half of all prices are odd numbered, dumbass
>>524355239It’s just, you don’t see them very often or get 2’s back in change at all to other amounts of cash you use.>>524355339So wouldn’t the other half account for even numbers..? What you on man?
>>524355122>22checked. It looks like it's your lonesome duty to keep $2 bills in circulation, OP. Good luck and Godspeed.
>>524355122cuck behavior
>>524355822Thanks man lol, always thought the $2 bill was underrated. It doesn’t get the credit it deserves as a form of American currency.
>>524355122i have a $2 that i use to snort blow. does this help?
>>524356054Whatever floats your boat anon. You do you man. Screw the haters.
>>524355122It's just a weird and annoying denomination. Kinda like the $1 Sacajawea coins. They're completely fair game to use, if you wanna go out of your way to be a kooky quirk meister type of guy,
>>524355122IDK, but they're used a lot in horse race betting.
>>524355122Jefferson was a 6’3 ginger who hated niggers and kikes so much he started a country so whites dont have to live around them. He would be disapointed in the fact we havent started slaying them en masse.
2 can be as bad as 1.
>>524355122>why not used? The $2 bill had a short span of usefulness. It was really only practical back when a dollar *really* was worth something. I'm talking about back when a dollar fed the whole family at McDonald's. As soon as the dollar had been devalued enough that 5s, 10s, and 20s were really needed there was no need for $2 bills. You simply kept however many 5/10/20 that you needed, and maybe a few ones.
>>524355122Instead of getting rid of the penny, why didn't they just make them worth 2.5 cents?
>>524355122It's not really a very useful denomination when you really think about it. Especially because of inflation. $1 and $2 are too similar in value, it doesn't really justify adding another slot to the cash register for $2 bills.
>>524355122When the dollar store becomes the 2 dollar store there was an agreement to end central banking, and they are trying to get people to forget by removing them from circulation.
>>524356721>why didn't they just make them worth 2.5 cents?Because the average Burger wouldn't know how many 0.2 bit pieces would be needed to make a dollar.
>>524355571>So wouldn’t the other half account for even numbers..?yes, which you can make with 2 1's, you dense motherfucker
>>524355122>so scarce and rarely usedThey gives these out as tourist trinkets at the Kabul airport, to commemorate the adventurism and cultural exchange.Unironically more American than Amerixa...
Fascism derives from the veneration of the Black Phallus; a unified pledge that has been retained and practiced by cult driven beliefs of the ruling classThe Erected Obelisk therefore represents dominion seized, considering the sun doesn't set on this Animal Farm in veneration to the men of Oz"you will swallow and you will be happy"
>>524355122i have one in my wallet i found on the ground last month in Venice beach after some tourist/gang member/rich yuppie/hippie/homeless meth head dropped it
>>524355122Given inflation, the lowest bill denomination should be $5, and the smallest coin should be a dime. There should just be a .1, .5, 1 and 2 set of coins. They also need to reintroduce the $500 bill.
>>524355122>What’s the deal?https://freetofindtruth.blogspot.com/2016/08/13-99-188-us-currency-and-bavarian.html
its all about da benjamins
>>524355122Because my dad rapes my ass and films it
>>524355122I have 3 $2 bills that various people have given me while busking, I love my $2 collection. There's something really neat about them
>>524355122they’re pretty pointless. You can’t buy almost anything with one or two dollars anyway. What’s the use in having both?$0.005 is long defunct$0.01 (recently discontinued) is 2x $0.005$0.05 is 5x $0.01$0.10 is 2x $0.05$0.25 is 2.5x $0.10$0.50 (rare) is 2x $0.25$1 is 2x $0.50$2 (rare) is 2x $1$5 is 2.5x $2$10 is 2x $5$20 is 2x $10$50 is 2.5x $20$100 is 2x $50What’s the point of this progression? Why are there quarters (1/4th of a dollar) but twenties (1/5th of a Benjamin)? If I were to re-denominate US currency along its current value I would use a progression alternating between 2x and 5x:$0.1 (note that the dollar would only be divisible into tenths in regular day-to-day use, not hundredths…)$0.5$1$5$10$50$100$500$1000Look at that progression. 5x, 2x, 5x, 2x, 5x…On the other hand I find that the $20 is almost the only bill that I ever use irl so maybe it should stay, but I just think that there is no reason for two successive increments of coinage to be only doubled. Admittedly the $0.25 is also the only coin that still has any practical use but I’ll stand by retiring it in favor of making $0.50 common because dollars just shouldn’t be divided by twentieths anymore, which quarters would necessitate
The 2, the 10, and the 50 are often thought to be fake money so if you get any of these give them away quickly to the homeless.
>>524356789in the good old days we had coins that were a fraction of a cent
>>524355122It's weird because the $2 is a truly official bill just low demand I guess. There's a strip club in Portland tired of cheap 1's being tossed and you have to toss 2's at asses, and they provide them as change.
>>524361043>1010s are extremely common in everyday use, but some zoomers haven't seen the "old" bills from before the 00s so some people might think those are fake I guess
>>524360891I can maybe see just having$0.10 and then $0.50, but going from $10 to $50 is too much of a jump, lots of real-world transactions still fall right around $20.
I like using $2's and half dollars to make zoomer minds meltdown.
>>524357050ur retarded. if you knew anything you would know obelisks are an illusion bridge to heaven and quantum lightning rods but you are too porn addled to remember that instead search results with fake black dildos are all that's rattling around in your brain.
>>524356458Should use them at the strip club. “Honey wanna play double or nothing?”
>>524355122>declaration of independence It would serve as a perpetual reminder, perhaps a dangerously undesirable thing to be thinking about.
