Britain is such a classist society in part because class in British context is more of an ethno cultural classification then it is economic. The middle and upper class have more steppe ancestry on average and are consequently more white.

The origins of the British class system can be traced back to the arrival of the Celts. The Celts were a conglomeration of "Aryan" steppe tribes who conquered areas of Western Europe from swarthy farmer people of middle eastern origin. They did not genocide the people they conquered or even disrupt their way of life much, they simply migrated over and became the ruling elite, this is especially true for the British isles. The Romans noted during their invasions thet while the south east contained a variety of phenotypes similar to Gaul the rest of the country was significantly swarthy, even more so then the Romans themselves.

The subsequent more impactful Germanic invasions of Britain brought significantly more steppe genetics whitening the country further as Germanic settler farmers were mixing with Brythonic ones. However In the towns and cities, among the ruling class, land owners etc there was less mixing with the natives and consequently the steepe elements in these areas and people were higher on average.

Fast forward to 18th and 19th centuries and the acts of enclosure. The acts of enclosure were meant to increase agricultural output but it was really about providing growing industry with what essentially amounted to slave labour. I won't get into the details here but all you need to know is that it forced large amounts of the peasantry into the towns and cities. These now urbanized peasants were dirt poor and lived in terrible conditions and were left with no choice but to work in horrendous 40k tier factories and mines. All of this had furthering dysgenic effects. To compliment this there was also a huge amount of Irish peasant migration fleeing the famine whom were significantly more ooga booga than their British counterparts. All of this lead to the creation of the British working class we know today and the problems and disparities that go with it.

"The ruling class are genetically superior" is just a rationalization of the existing class structure. Humans are too cumbrained for the elite to not mix with the underlying population over time such that they converge genetically

Obviously the classes mix but class systems mean that people are far more likely to reproduces with members of their own class. This obviously leads to genetic differences down the line, especially when you consider that the class hierarchy was the result of one distinct group of people conquering another.

The Normans were literally "Northmen" i.e. of the same Germanic stock as the Angles / Saxons / Jutes. The idea that the Celts are some kind of cave-dwelling proto-humans (who, by the way, have fairer phenotypes on average and are therefore technically "more white") came about as a justification for subjugating Ireland, not because the Anglo-Normans are some kind of genetic isolate endowed with natural rulership traits
