hot take but you should be wary of swimming in any body of water without tidal flushing. i only swim at beaches. there are high FIB levels all the time but a lot of places aren't tested often for cost reasons. most FIB comes from animal feces and surface water runoff, unless you live near an urban area where there may be a sewer leak - but those high levels are often due to stormwater runoff of bird shit and such
