It is good advice while its still underground but once it becomes the popular trade its over. I have some gold too but its a long term hold but anyone buying now will likely regret it soon

How is BTC worth 1.75 trillion overall? Like what value is being produced? Couldn't it easily go to <1 trillion tomorrow?
>>
>>524395357
If you understand Q then you would have bought silver by now.
>>
>>524395581
Then short it. You can make money on either market movement.

Btc is useless in the west, but the shithole countries use it to store wealth because of unstable local currency.

Is it? Why will it go up from its current 1.75 trillion valuation? They're still making more
>>
>>524396684
Because the printer go brrrr, but not for bitcoin.
>>
>>524396832
That's true, but hasnt BTC already far outpaced inflation since inception? That would suggest it could contract significantly, it could even go to zero if no one valued it(look at all the alt coins). Having no inherent value makes BTC a very risky bet(emphasis bet)

1.75 trillion whats? Not dollars. Vast majority of volume is in Tethers. Which aren't dollars.
This should set off alarm bells, but degenerates who get money by ignoring fraud aren't going to notice it just because you point it out to them.
>>
>>524397159
Thats not how it works. BTC is just a good like any other, basically a luxury investment good like gold. If the dollar is davaluing, why would the good price devalue also? Fundamentally there will always be people who use BTC to do bargaining of economic resouces, just like the very first people traded gold/silver coins, so there will always be demand for BTC. There will be unstability because of lack of regulation, but the it will remain a valuable good.
>>
>>524395207
I invested in BTC and silver back in 2021 and now I'm like 4-5x richer than I would've been if I just saved all that money in the bank or whatever. Basically all of these investments vastly outperform the USD long term, so you need to be invested in something otherwise you're guaranteed to lose to inflation
>>
>>524395207

>Fundamentally there will always be people who use BTC to do bargaining of economic resouces, just like the very first people traded gold/silver coins, so there will always be demand for BTC.
You're correct, but this doesn't necessitate that BTC value will always go up. If fewer people use it for transactions and thr bulk is just held for investment the value could languish or go down. People were just recently claiming NFTs as a store of wealth but once the fad subsided they mostly went to zero vs USD
>>
>>524395207
It’s going below 75k before pumping again. Enjoy the Jewish casino that maximizes losses

When in doubt, always trust things that you can physically hold in your hand and don't require internet access. Good rule of thumb for life.
>>
>>524398073
Yes but silver has industrial uses and NVDA has earnings, what does BTC have other than supposed scarcity but even thats not true as there was more today than yesterday. People don't need it and can't use it, so why would it necessarily go up in the future?
>>
Bitcoin is dead. The time to make money on it is over. It's a thing that operates on "news". I the last year+
>Trump goes to crypto convention
>Bitcoin spot ETF
>the halvening
>Trump wins election
Now Bitcoin is down $40k in the last 2 months. It's basically run out of news, too many normies have been burned, and any talk of "putting IRAs into bitcoin" is dead forever because boomers would have had collective heart attacks with the recent bear run
>>
>>524395207
He decided to be shitty and give the USD the worst year since 2017 instead along with Silver being discovered as being a Wundermettal that works in new technologies, and China putting on export bans.

Crypto doesn't protect against inflation at all. It just is too expensive now.

>Vast majority of volume is in Tethers. Which aren't dollars.
TetherUSD is probably the most backed dollar there is.
They have 1:1 USD treasury bonds backing their USDstable
They're also stacking gold and BTC with the interest they earn off the treasury bonds.

Meanwhile banks have 0% reserves, are those dollars?
Cash doesn't earn 4-5% interest, is cash dollars?

Like it or not tetherUSD is more a dollar than any other representation of a dollar.

>They have 1:1 USD treasury bonds backing their USDstable
you cannot say that
they still have not been independently audited once
i'm sure its better than it was 10 years ago
but they've just spent 10 years endlessly frontrunning and pumping and dumping money out of crypto users
its hardly impressive at this point

Shitcoins are all well and good for investment gambling, but they're useless as a store for the end times. they're dependent on everyone involved having a robust internet connection and plenty of storage/computing power. They will be one of the first things to stop working.
