My father in law for example is having a ranch home built (he doesn't want to walk up stairs to go to bed anymore he's 75) and he's bitching that the "custom butler pantry" he personally designed for the contractor is going to add 200k to the build. We're like... "Dude you host Thanksgiving once a year wtf do you need a butler pantry for?" Then he starts ranting about crowded counter space even though he's already got a huge island counter with a sink. Absolutely delusional.
