Looks like Jacksonville wants to skip the normal process by saying "it's an emergency that we didn't maintain the bridge". If they get away with it, other cities and states will also stop maintaining their bridges so they can use federal emergency funds instead of going through the normal process or simply using state or local funds. Why spend $1 million on upkeep for a bridge over the years when you can instead scream emergency and get $200 million from the feds?

I drive over this bridge sometimes. It's a shitty bridge. No shoulders so when the niggers crash traffic gets backed up. Much of the traffic over this bridge is niggers because it connects a neighborhood called Arlington that is full of niggers with MLK Blvd which is home exclusively to niggers. Personally I hope it collapses and is never rebuilt as the inconvenience/extra cost of gas should keep at least some of the worst of the niggers on the other side of the river where they belong. It's the best bridge to go over to get to the football stadium so I have mixed feelings on the matter, however.
