Most people are averse to consciously exploiting the system and "just achieve the lifestyle of the top income decile bro" is by definition a non-scalable solution. The people in said decile can of course just say "fuck you got mine, git gud lmao" but they shouldn't then be surprised when a sizeable chunk of the population starts becoming radicalized

I-if I just keep grinding and take on just $50k more in student debt (garnished from my low wages, thank you Trump) I'll get that mythical 500k/year job that will allow me to live in a spacious middle class home in the burbs.
