There's some great exceptions that I know but I'm not a plebbitor that thinks that undoes the rule, most tatfags are low IQ degens. Age matters too, gen x with tattoos is the least degen but that's only because aside from that older people are more mature and less ridiculous in general. Millennials with tattoos are usually worst of the worst dumb degens but on a rare occasion a reformed and respectable person. Gen Z with tattoos are in some whole new category where it is becoming overwhelmingly popular and they get lots of random shit permanently all over them very young without thinking of the future or even being into tattoo culture in any real capacity. So whether or not they end up full degens they are definitely young and stupid and ultimately are practicing something that they are exposed to by attrition/volume and will probably regret later.My thought is it reflects a trait I generally despise in people and is amplified in the tattfag. Not having any concept of history or anthropology or the broader outcomes of human intention. Not having an intellectual aspect of the human spirit vs entropy thing that grounds a person in reality and opens the path to the future that we call history. It goes in conjunction with the fact that they don't care about preserving their own bodily integrity and just get random consumerist junk permanently scarred onto themselves. I've also noticed that they are more irritable in general, I think partly because they can no longer envision themselves in any good or pure esteem in a more significant plotline of life, and partly because tattoos are stigmatized as being a dangerous toughguy thing so they overcompensate by being impossible combative dicks every chance they get.
