It's not going to be easy, and it's not going to be with the help of your environment. The only way you can get the life you want is by fighting every day for it. Because the powers that be and by default most everyone around you want to force you to live someone else's life, life as they conceive and imagine it. They are going to do things to you that are drastic and brutal, make subtle and often overt threats, sometimes concealed by temptations and seductions, to railroad you into that type of life. But if you fight and struggle every day of your life for your life, you can defeat them and have the life you want. Because the fact is that they don't care about oppressing you to the point of fighting you every day. You are their plaything, and when you become inconvenient they will just back off and move on to the next person rather than try to keep you. When they come up against serious resistance, they will either compromise with you or vanish out of your life, giving way to people who see your value, want what you have, and are willing to work with you so you can live the life you want. The number one reason why you are stuck living someone else's life is because you are afraid of the consequences of brute forcing the life you want, afraid of what others will do to you. So rather than causing them to bend the knee or leave, making space for the more positive people and things in your environment that will inevitably come after them, you are stuck with a set of very negative, domineering, and restrictive influences that never change. In the short-term you will suffer without them, but in the long-term you will reach a new and better equilibrium as your standards only allow for people and things around you that help you attain the life you want.
