They say a prototype is ready just before summer 2026.At first htese new drives wold be for datacenter use only to make datacenters faster than what they currently are, when it comes to speed of saving data on permanent basis. (RAM contents get erased on boot while SSD stores data for a long term)But Nvidia also said that they will bring it to gamers as well by 2027. This is understandable since Nvidia makes gaming graphics cards so they could very well extend their business to other gamer components as well.
