Also, AI encourages people to rely on it when it doesn't have the degree of superiority to human cognition it needs. If the AI makes an error, and they still do, you need people competent enough in the field to correct the AI. But if those people used AI as a crutch and never developed that level of competency, they can't correct the AI and so the mistakes will pile up while everything looks fine, which will eventually cause a sort of cascading failure effect that destroys everything.
