Teachers are complaining that the kids they’re teaching today are worse than any other groups of students they’ve taught over the years. Started a short simple statement had to turn and tell the next person on e it gets to the end the lesson is every person hears and interprets info differently, distortsvthe message just a little or doesn't understand the message. That's the classroom. Tech, each individual has personal access, interprets as necessary, moves on, if recall needed it's a fingertips. Clears up file space in the brain because retaining factoids isn't necessary. Teacher's unions, a very powerful political force, hates that tech is making them obsolete by the second.

I quit as a subsitute teacher last year for this reason. You can tell which kid was being neglected with the whole ipad / being glued to a phone screen, and which ones were getting proper parenting.The kids who spoke ebonics and in literal brain rot memes were illiterate and dont know their own names, or write them, and the kids with zero electronics.. .acted like normal kids, and were considered "geniuses" by the upper school admin, even though they were totally normal.its so fucking over for gen alpha. If you want your kid to be a "mental elite" just don't let them touch anything with a screen for at least 16-17 years of development.
