>>524466768It was really, really cheap back in 2014-16. I bought mine used for 11k, you could get it straight from the dealer for like 18k. It's a really great first car out of high school and the older models were just on the cusp of that "everything must be electronic!" Push, so you can still somewhat work on the internals. Now, these fucking things cost upwards of 32-35k. They fucking tripled in price during covid and now have ipads instead of dashboards, so I can understand why people would be confused as to their popularity. >TLDR: cheap, if you had money at the time you got a honda civic and worked on it, if you didn't, you got a Kia soul.
