Canada's actually deporting asylum seekers of late in record numbers. You're better off riding an illegal boat into the UK for free food and shelter.
UK has cheaper groceries and travel options, as well as far more interesting historical and cultural places, and you can easily live without a car.Canada has cheaper real estate (yes really) and utilities, with much bigger cars and homes. Food is more expensive. Outdoor recreation is better if you can handle bugs and cold. You can't get by without a car.
