Scrolling thru French subplebbits & other communities (for some reason it's hard to find normal young Frenchies on the Internet, maybe that's another advantage they have over us all), it's striking how they even casually converse with each other in a far superior way. They write like true distinguished people of letters, like it's the 19th century--very polite, with well thought-out arguments yet succinctly (unlike the average Anglophone plebbitors who love their own voice and farts more than anything else in the world) and don't seem to carry a mortal grudge when encountering a difference of opinion, they strive to achieve a greater understanding between each other. They seem to live on an entirely higher plane of existence than all of us, not in the sense of being some utopian ethereal everlasting pictures of pure perfection of course, but in a very realistic and down-to-earth- higher plane of existence. Joie de vivre!And of course France has possibly the most beautiful architecture in the entire world, rivaling Italy aesthetically and certainly surpassing it in terms of maintenance, cleanliness, general orderAnd geographically it's very varied and beautiful too. Combined with the richness of its Culture, History, Industry etc. its places like the Azure Coast I would describe as out of this world and truly fairy tale-like and beating the Gulf of Naples with its Amalfi Coast... except that actually having been to all these places, Marseilles I found much worse than Naples where I felt completely safe, to be honest (safer than Rome, been there done that)But nowhere is perfect, and with that being said, I think it's safe to say that France is the best country in the world
