Southern europeans must understand that germanics are inherently our biological enemies. There's no possible friendship, let alone alliance with them, we are too radically different.Unfortunately most meds are naives and well intended and they don't see how much germanics hate them and resent them.If you look into the Germanic nationalist groups they are far more obsessed with meds (and occasionally with slavs, especially in germany) that they are with the non europeans.Historically germanics also always backstabbed us and allied with non europeans, for example the French-Ottoman alliance and the protestant who also sided with the muslims.
