Ukraine doesn't have an endgame. They are a puppet. Imagine Ukraine as a proxy army of US and EU. They are nothing more than that.
When their army is destroyed, ukranda is gone.
That's it.
EUs and US's endgame is to essentialy cointain Russia's advancement to a world power like the USSR was.

Hope that covered any questions you had.

Here's recent insight from the former President of the Pigsty
>Russia is fading, but Ukraine must grow stronger to outlast it – Poroshenko
>"A war of endurance is now being fought by both Ukraine, which is having a very difficult time, which surprises the world, and Russia. We are told that Russia is big, it has great potential, it has an unstoppable army, it has, unlike us, an economy that is geared towards military purposes. And it is all true. Don't believe anyone who tries to put on rose-colored glasses for you. But it is also fading. And we need to be stronger, more responsible, in order not to be erased before Russia,"
He noted that the Russian Federation has almost completely used up the reserves of its sovereign fund, has its assets blocked in Western banks and has begun to sell off monetary gold, which, according to him, "means that the Russians have nothing left to sell."
>"We are talking about the fact that we need to block what is coming to Russia, currency flows... If we block oil, including voting on the resolution introduced by Poroshenko and the European Solidarity to stop the transit of Russian oil through the territory of Ukraine for Hungary and Slovakia - because this gives Russia $7 billion a year... Russia receives $21 million a day for transit through the territory of Ukraine," the politician said.
>He noted that Russia must be forced to agree to a ceasefire during negotiations, or hellish sanctions will be applied against it, and Ukraine will receive long-range weapons. "Then I have certain grounds for optimism that Ukraine will survive if we are responsible, mature and united, and Russia will lose, because the unification of sanctions, long-range weapons... this is completely realistic," Poroshenko said.

That is true. But at the same time there is divisions in the US/EU over looking for a freeze in the conflict or attempting to inflict maximum damage on Russia through THD.
Trump has demonstrated himself to be weaker in this regards than you may think.
He shows considerable deference to the neocons in his party and to the Europeans.

>I do not get it. WWII machine guns can punch holes on soldiers just fine. Even WWI machine guns can kill anything. When hruks doing this they are resourceful and sly, when Russians doing this they are hilarious.
IMO it's a matter of time and place.

You wouldn't go clearing trenches with one of those, but as a weapon in a fixed position (like a pillbox), why not?
I remember using the old smgs from the 40s or repeater rifles, they are accurate.
I was shooting competitively out to 300 meters with my iron sights Mauser and 0-100 meters day/night with my M/45b SMG (also iron sights).

There is literally nothing wrong with the old guns apart from perhaps ergonomics and attachments.
But for say second line trench work (where you also have illumination rounds), iron sights will be enough.

I heard typical US M4 with milspec ammo have machine precision of 2-4 inches at 100 meters (that is worse than I get from real shooting with iron sights).
It's just laughably bad when comparing to something like the old battlerifles (AK4/G3) or repeaters (like Mauser M96)

So dependinig on the scenario I think many old rifles would even be better.
But at 0-100 meters and when you need to throw many bullets down range that can punch through kevlar... Well, then modern rifles is the only way to go.

The question is, since I don't really know, can kevlar armour really stop these large old, 7.92mm rounds? from older battle-rifles or mausers etc.

Because the tendency the last years was to chamber rifles in 5.56mm which I really doubt have the same stopping power as 7,92mm

They are delusional if they can think they can cause meaningful damage to Russian energy sector with low-grade terrorist attacks. If they had a fleet of strategic bombers, armed with Kinzhals, naval assets with Kalibr's and Iskander launchers, then they could actually contend meaningfully with Russian infrastructure. As it stands, all they can hope is to fly a drone somewhere on occasion to scratch the paint off a building.

Okay, it is very special and expensive, but modern ceramic plates still cannot stop WWII era AP rounds.

About old rifles yeah, range matter. Afghan's used 100 years old Lee Enfields, good accuracy, and deadly even from 600 meter. It is not a trench sweeper, but it must be very annoying to have only an M4 when somebody pinning you from half a kilometer.

OHV IMZ and KMZ went a very different path from BMW and even from each other.

>The question is, since I don't really know, can kevlar armour really stop these large old, 7.92mm rounds? from older battle-rifles or mausers etc.
>Because the tendency the last years was to chamber rifles in 5.56mm which I really doubt have the same stopping power as 7,92mm
Kevlar stops the SMGs (so 9mm, .40 cal etc)
So you need at least ~700m/s, preferably with low recoil (or thereabouts)

So the AK15 for instance uses the 7.62x39

Also, a 7.62 makes twice as big entry hole, and post tumbling a much larger exit hole.
The 5.56/5.45 is good because they punch through the kevlar, but are also very low recoil for the followup shots.

>>524494999
>About old rifles yeah, range matter. Afghan's used 100 years old Lee Enfields, good accuracy, and deadly even from 600 meter. It is not a trench sweeper, but it must be very annoying to have only an M4 when somebody pinning you from half a kilometer.
Checked and accurate

But, maybe they will try something just going off Putin’s talk to the security council yesterday discussing its capture

The E3 dead on arrival?
Starmer distancing himself from the "peace" negotiations. Merz and Macron falling out over Macron's proposals to re-engage with the Russians diplomatically.
The E3 was a core group of major European countries in the NATO alliance made up of France, Britain, and Germany, who were envisaged as a strong European counter against the Russian US rapproachment.
Now Starmer couldn't be arsed to pep talk Zelensky before he goes into talks with Trump.
The talks today are considered to be a important indicator of the American approach to the anaemic peace process.
Do they adopt the 20 point plan and continue to push for a freeze or "free economic zone" or do the reconfirm their adherence to the Anchorage summit and the 28 point plan?

>Also i think they are going to enroll a new weapon chambered in 6.02x41mm in the next 5-7 years, something akin to MCX spear but prolly better
It's possible.

As far as I can tell the ammo choices are on a spectrum.
You can get a quicker lighter bullet with less recoil and better ballistics out to ~300 meters (5.56x45) with less stopping power and smaller wounds than a 7.62...
Or you go for more damage (larger holes, more energy transfer) then you get higher recoil and slower bullet (so at 300 meters the elevation variance will be higher, requiring a better trained shooter)

As far as I can tell a 6.02 is not even half a millimeter larger than the 5.56, and with a smaller cartridge than even in the 5.56 I wonder what the benefit would be.

I know what I would do, and I will after some testing at the firing range pitch the idea to Sako.
If they buy, then I will offer the exact same idea to Kalashnikov group but for free a year later.

Ideally Putin follows his "Kill the Trumpeteer" counter-insurgency doctrine until all those that do not actively resist the regime of Zelensky get busified and killed on the front, or flee Ukraine, or are killed in inevitable civil strife that will follow the collapse of the Ukrainian military and capitulation of Kiev. This will result in demilitarization, installation of a pro-Kremlin interim government and gradual withdrawal of Russian military, while Putin retains the areas he had originally said he wants to. This is my prognosis of the best case scenario.

Yeah, well I didn't make the connection that it was a Russian caliber.
I think going from 5.45 x 39 to 6.02 x 41 makes a lot of sense.

But the amerimutts decided to go for the 227 fury.
Designed to punch through ceramic lates out to 600 yards, while failing to penetrate level 4 plates at 25.
Even when shooting hole in hole.

Was it worth going back to 7.62 parent case and pressure over 80000 PSI for that?

Why not go for simpler requirements like punch through level 4 armor at 0-100 meters and be accurate out to 500 meters?
That would be possible to make.

Well there's live video of russian troops at the milk canning plant and some other places inside the City, so anyone saying it's all taken is lying.
I think divgen is more or less right for now, though obviously that could change.
As to how many russians were there and how many retrieted to the currently held areas it's somewhat unclear. Maybe 300 fighters at the start of the current ukrop movements,. Lets assume they've taken maybe 20% casualties in (wounded + dead).
So there's something like 200-240 russian troops holed up in two enclaves on the right hand side of the river, recieving suplies by drones and with significant fire-support as the 6th CAA is still there.
The question is if they can hold until the 6th can clear the east side down to where they can start inserting troops over the river, or if russia can rotate enough drone crews to completely paralyse the ukrainian offensive in the area and clean up the northern side between the fortified russian possitions and the city itself to reinforce and evacuate wounded.
It's tense, but not some clear Ukrainian victory so far.

Nothing wrong with old designs, especially since they don't use components and modern alloys that aren't easy to come-by and are better used elsewhere in a real war economy. You don't want soldiers to carry off rare-earth minerals by the truckload in their small arms, when you could better use them in aerospace, drones and machine tools.

I'm in two minds about the Brownings though. Yes they are an effective design especially the M2, since they have just the right amount of mass and durability that makes them optimal despite advances in metallurgy.
But on the other hand both the M2 and the 1911 are statistcially the best and most effective at killing white people.
When I hear Amerifats s o y p o g out on their .50 cal and .45 ACP and MUH WON 2 WORLD WARS, all I can think of is jews dumping trucloakds of goatfuckers on the graves of dead white soldiers. Well done Amerigoy. You were the goodest of goy at killing whites.

Seversk and Guyaipole were just as much festungs as for say Ughledar or Avdeeka. They were supposed to hold on for months if not a year. Instead they both fell in a week, Severs so hard the AFU left most of their battle plans and communications equipment for the Russians intact which could be a real turning point.
I don't think the Slavyansk-Kamatorsk maginot line will work as the AFU is completely nearing a military defeat.

Crossing the Dnieper would be a maximalist outcome, preferential but unfortunately unlikely.
It could end this week with the Ukrainians agreeing to a withdrawal from Donbas in exchange for territories in Kharkov, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy.
It more than likely will drag on for another year or two with the Russians making further territorial gains until the Ukrainians sue for peace.

If the war is fought to its conclusion, i don't think it is unlikely.
Right now, hohols are grinded down so hard, that it is unreasonable for Russia to stop the war.
At the point the Dnieper would be reached, hohols would be grinded down even further, and by then it might be again unreasonable for Russia to stop the war, because a crossing wouldn't be that hard.

It all depends on whether or not the West can magically rev up production to make it bloody for Russia. Then they can achieve a deal... if not... then i don't see it.
There is no reason for Russia to stop just because they captured an artificial amount of land. This isn't about land and never was.

Yeah, sorry.
As I said I was thinking western calibers.
I think this has potential.

A funny aspect of the 6.02 that seems to not be an illusion is the significant internal air bubble.
This ofc makes the bullet lighter giving higher speed.

And armor penetration is a function of hardness of the projectile, its density and ofc the speed.
I wonder if it's enough with a target V0 of 800m/s but it looks promising and is an improvement over 5.45x39.
But while they are at it, why not make it a 6.02x45?
It's potentially 13% more energy (or more) giving (50 m/s extra speed).

>>524497590
>They have to reinforce the case with steel. It's a massive graft to set up a proprietary supply chain with minimal benefit
Well, as tests have shown there is virtually no benefit over the 308
Yes, it shoots a little flatter and faster, but it's pretty much the same round fired from a 33% higher barrel pressure and about 30% more energy.
So if you just hot load a 308 with a bullet of the same weight (say similar design as pic rel), then maybe the 277 could shoot flatter.

Ofc that would require steel cases (or reinforced brass), but why now?
A bonus is that old surplus ammo would work.

GDP works magical ways: Tax your plebs, channel their money into something silly like Ukranda, half of the money is stolen by corrupt politicians, other half is for the actual (useless) product. The product will be made by the plebs, who will be happy to make something, because he will get salaries, what can be taxed. The point is, you should never stop producing, always have a good excuse to make pointless shit, and the golden toilet will be granted. If the product is destroyed, it is even better!

Anons here are too young to get that context.
>we need to invest lots of government money to bail out the car manufacturers, because we need their production lines in a case of war for building tanks!
...was the argument used every single time when they had a crisis and begged for money.
And those car manufacturers acted economically inept, because the scam worked. As soon as the economy had a little hiccup, half of those giant corporations suddenly faced bankruptcy and needed to be bailed out.

It was always a lie. And boomers got drilled to believe it.
You can take a VW factory and transform it to output a thousand tanks per day within a week. That's what boomers in Germany and Austria believe.

It was obviously, to some extent a misscalculation from 6th CAA command. Who planned to hold the right hand river side of the city without a sweep of the left hand side first. Guessing from our intelligence vacum, they seem to have expected more effort to be put on stoping up the half a dozen ongoing catastrophic ukrainian defeats along the fronts. Where as Syrski instead marshalled most avaiable reserves and threw them into Kupiansk.
Apparently Ukrops also did the "two guys under a drone sneak in and hide in a cellar" thing from the forrested areas south-west of the city to prepare for the Kupiansk contrahruyk.
So even if the war is said to be fought more or less with "open cards" there is clearly still some room for strategic gambles and deception operations.
Though it's really anyones guess what the Ukrainian command is trying to acheive by splitting Kupiansk in half without any reasonable chance of success at clearing out russian presence north of it.
It really looks like (again) largely a PR centric focus. "We can at least make Putin look silly for once"
As to talking shit about which group did what error, that's really for after the conclusion of the battle. If the 6th CAA and the first guards tank army and the rest of the West grouping can salvage Kupiansk, they will be "the heroes who held the Ukrainian assault as Zapporozhia and Mirnograd was rolled up".
If not they might become the "fools who lost a infantry battalion in foolish bid for a city they couldn't hold".

I think it's hard to tell which are the worst performing.

For Pokrovsk/Myrnograd I read they had dedicated some 100K soldiers for the entire operation.
How many for Kupyansk?
300?
3000?
Maybe thrice that?

Ofc the Ukrainians can't move 100K to counter the Russians, at best they could move in some 20K.
If that is what they had in the counteroffensive in Kupyansk against a much smaller force, then naturally it should give results.

Is it better to successfully defend with I dunno, 500 vs 20K or winning with 100K vs 20K?

From what I can tell in Kupyansk, the Russian offensive lacked meat.
It was small infantry groups advancing with support of FPVs and artillery.

Naturally, when the enemy throws in everything they have there, these small groups will be pushed back.
The priority comes from the center, they allocate the manpower and resources.

the war that started in November 1939 and ended in March 1940? the only problem in your statement is that the "Ural", in reality a ripped off copy of the BMW R-71 wasn't manufactured until August 1941.

"...to devise a motorcycle that would be suitable for the Red Army, and the Nazi Wehrmacht's BMW R71 motorcycle was found to closely match the Red Army's requirements. Five units were covertly purchased through Sweden and handed over to Moscow Motorcycle Plant, recently organized in a retooled bicycle factory. Soviet engineers dismantled the BMWs and reverse engineered the bike's design in every detail. Molds and dies were made to produce engines, gearboxes and other components. The production of these new military sidecar motorcycles, designated M-72 by the Red Army, started in August 1941."

Even if they're not moving at the same speed, they have to be stopped now, as they're only 100km or so from Orehovs MSR. if they can close even half of that (which they seem to be set to do in the next 2 months) drone pressure on the road will make the city VERY hard to hold even if they had spare manpower to move over there (those who would be doing that are are all in Kupiansk as of now).

Should've said after the winter war as it was developed to replace the PMZ-A-750 and uhh the TIZ AM-600 was it that was a licensed copy of a BSA slope that were in the winter war. ESL moment.
That being said, the OHV Urals are not BMW ripoffs as they share no parts with each other, they're completely their own thing.
They're about as much of a ripoff as the Mazda RX3 is from the NSU Ro 80

When will that be? Please state it fully like "Russia will save the Ukraine by agreeing to a cisfire by such-and-such date" so I can put you into the next collage

>It's so fucked though
Yeah, but the Ukrainian high command very much sacrifices its men to try to hold back Russian advances well beyond the point of reasonableness. You'd think they'd have pulled out of Guliaipole, but they never gave the order and that ended up leading to that unit HQ getting captured. I think they'll try something similar there, even if it's pointless in the end.

>not being in NAFO is part of negotiation points
No, it is a non-negotiable requirement to enter negotiations in the first place. You have to agree to this BEFORE Russia is even ready to talk to you.
Another one is that the Western vassal regime has to go and Ukraine has to hold elections, otherwise Ukraine can not sit on the negotiation table.

And those requirements get more and harder with each month that passes and each city hohols lose.

You are talking about things Russia agreed to in 2022. It isn't 2022 anymore. That offer got rejected and doesn't exist anymore.

Ukraine wont be in NATO but it will be western aligned and occupied by euro troops. Russia conceded this point as long as they're not protected by article 5.
>>
>>524498744
It didn't happen the last 10 times the West begged Putin to freeze the war... but it will totally end this time?

The one thing i know for sure, is that you will still be around after negotiations again get rejected.
And you will forget what you claimed today.
And you will claim that the next time the Orange Idiot offers negotiations it will happen for real.
And so on... its the endless circle of the Drumpf tard.

Still zero shits to give about.
If you have like native 40fps you already have the potential for 25ms delay IF you present the new frame instantly and not via double or tripple buffer. In fact, if it merely a double-buffering then you will have 50ms native delay. Slopping new frames will only allow you to get way lower than that because you get cheap frames for buffering rather than having to fully draw actual frames in advance.
And if you have the delay sub 30ms that's it, it's subjectively unnoticeable.

are you also stupid? what in "Soviet engineers dismantled the BMWs and reverse engineered the bike's design in every detail. Molds and dies were made to produce engines, gearboxes and other components" is hard for you to understand? They're almost identical where it counts.
>>
>>524499038
"M's" and K750 are somewhat related, but OHV, read again, OHV Urals are NOT related to BMWs.
They stopped making sidevalves in the 50s.
