I feel like the “muh learn a trade” crowd makes it really fucking obvious that they’re too low IQ to do anything else. We live in a service economy. The overwhelming majority of GDP isn’t generated by blue collar jobs anymore. You can weld your pipes all you want, it says nothing about the overarching societal problems. You don’t see women in these jobs, because they’re considered low status, not because women are incapable of doing them. Women are equally incapable of political and stem jobs, yet we have seen a massive increase of them in these fields in the last two-three decades. I have ample experience with this. They don’t end up with these positions, because they can do them. They end up there because they whine, cry, manipulate, and lie enough to secure themselves a cushy job. They then proceed to indolently sit on their asses and attack anyone who dares question their usefulness. What’s the result of this leniency? Our (service) economy is now a dead horse we keep beating. Resources are spread as thin as ever, despite nominal GDP rising. We have tons of deadweight in places of employment that doesn’t do shit but parasite off of others. Academia is a clown show now, even the more “male” fields like physics and mathematics. Company culture is now a kindergarten run by HR caretakers. Everything has turned into a massive welfare estate, where useful members of society are the chattel of lazy idiots. This is reminiscent of the 1980s Soviet Union. Do we want to experience something akin to the collapse of the USSR? I don’t think it would be good for anyone, even the “muh trade” faggots. The ship will sink and you will sink with it, regardless of what you chose to as your job.
