Walkable neighborhoods is the new social movement sweeping the country.

>give up privacy and share walls with your non-white neighbors so that you can have a shorter walk to the pizza place that has a parking lot next to it

this is the dumbest fucking shit i've seen today
>>
>>524530782
Both look like suburban hellscapes.
>>
>>524531218
Nah. The Blue one is similar to like it is here. You can walk 5 minutes and find all sorts of shops, restaurants, parks and other activities (anything further away there is also a good bus service). A car is not required to exist here. There is actually a community. I know the guy in the local shop and he knows me.

1000% the red one. Bigger yards, better sound dampening, not being on the main street means less crime, less density means less crime, you can go to a local park area that will be less packed than "central park" style layouts.
Blue looks like a university campus, not somewhere you would want to live permanently.
>>
>>524531666
Do you know the guy in the local shop by name or do you go to faceless Walmart #2897238 with faceless Walmart Employee #238973287423897432894327892473?
>>
>>524530782
You have to provide me a body of water if you want me to live that way. It turns mediocrity into an immediate privilege
>>
>>524531755
knowing kumar harshit at your local greggs isn't the flex you think it is.
>>
>>524530782
its so funny hearing black people complain about safety in neighborhoods when they are the ones who make it unsafe. do they have any self awareness? they want to get out of the hood but ironically bring the hood wherever they go. retarded monkeys i tell you
>>
>>524530782
No thanks, I prefer Americana.
>>
>>524531896
So that's a no then. When you actually know each other than that forms the basic of actual community. You care about "David who runs the shop round the corner". You don't really care about "That guy in a Walmart uniform I will see once in my life".

>$950

Where can I find this? Those go for $1500 here.
>>
>>524532007
I don't have a walmart withing 20 miles because I don't live in a working class neighborhood. walmarts a generally for poorfags who make less than 50k a year. I do actually have a butcher and other local family owned stores, but I don't take the time to know their life story, nor do I care.

>overpriced falling apart mexican built cookie cutter homes surrounded by bitchy middle age cunts
pass.

that's a fucking steal, those go for $1900 nowadays
sign me up
>>
>>524532149
Applies to everything when it's some megastore 20 miles away rather than something local.
>>
>>524530782
walkable towns are great when niggers don’t live there.
>>
>>524532007
>You care about "David who runs the shop round the corner"
you care about that paki who bought up the corner store 30+ years ago
retard
>>
>>524530782
walkability is a good thing, assuming the building materials used aren't paper and glue so you aren't forced to hear your closer neighbors and the businesses are independent and owned by residents of the local community, thereby keeping cash in the neighborhood.
all that said, this is never the case, see >>524531069
>>
When you are chained to a car, walkable cities feel like slavery.
>>
>>524532149
>i do actually have a butcher and other local family owned stores, but I don't take the time to know their life story, nor do I care.
same, but don’t you see how this is a major problem with the prevailing culture here?
>>
>>524530782
The type of housing does not matter. What matters is who lives in it.
>>
>>524532321
I predict that in a few decades the blue one will still be there (with some updates) while the red one has been bulldozed.
>>
Mutts wish they were as walkable as us
I'm the most walkable dude in my town

New? Social movement? lmao jesus christ

Not being able to step out of my front door, and walk into the town and green spaces, without seeing ethnic minorities, without crackheads, without homeless, is simply unimaginable for me. I couldnt live in the US because of having to drive everywhere and see blacks everywhere. Americans seem to think that is a social experiment, a movement, alien
