Plenty of exercise and time outside. One of them just couldn't focus on anything, even things he liked. Once we got him medication it was like night and day. He could actually play sports without getting distracted mid game and picking at the grass. He actually started doing well in school and started finishing his (very short) homework in a few minutes instead of an hour+. Some people's brains are just physically different and broken and need medication to be made healthy. It'd be no different than if you were short and needed growth hormone or a type 1 diabetic and needed insulin. The body isn't perfect, but we can use medication to shore up deficiencies.
