Quitting goyslop might seem to be easy, you can just eat unprocessed foods and/or buy food directly from farmers instead of mainstream supermarkets but only if you sit in your parents basement all day and never step out of the house. I’m in college and I also work part-time in a supermarket, there’s nothing but highly processed goyslop at my college’s cafeteria. At work I get free meals and can choose whatever food I want from the supermarket but because my break doesn’t last forever I can’t choose some healthy non-goyslop food I have to cook and instead I have to eat highly processed already cooked goyslop. At home it’s easy to not eat goyslop but almost all quick snacks I don’t have to cook and can eat at college or at work are highly processed goyslop. I tried to take food from home but it changes its taste when it’s outside of the fridge for a long time and some foods like soups can spill. So if anyone can give me tips how to stop eating goyslop at college and at work even though there aren’t a lot of options I will appreciate it

Get yourself a good cookbook, crock pot, freezable cooler bricks, insulated zipper lunch bag, spill proof containers and Thermos for hot liquids. Literally create an adult version of a school lunchbox like your parents did, this is adulting.

Set aside time to cook major meals for 3 days and freeze left overs if the food can freeze and be reheated.

Crock pot dishes can be left to cook all day or overnight on low simmer.

Use a crock pot for one pot dishes using fresh food. Celery and hummus is a good snack. Rice paper wraps with what you like is a good, low carb option. Hummus and celery is pretty good for light snack or a chicken salad.

Don't leave your food unrefrigerated, you'll get food poisoning. Freezer bricks in a insulated lunch bag can help, but won't last forever.

I have a rule, I don't eat outside of the building that houses my toothbrush. Can't stand not being able to brush my teeth right away after eating. Do you really need 3 meals a day+snacks?

Since I was in OPs position starting 12 years ago. I was 140kg and got down to 82kg from healthy eating and light exercise within two years. It's about lifestyle change and long term health. You can avoid over processed food and still be convenient to yourself by prepping, being thrifty and going old school home cooking. The oldies had one thing going for them. You don't need to eat all the time, but eat what you need.

1 - cooking is a lot faster than you think, especially if you're cooking simply and for one. a toaster oven will cook a steak in 30 minutes with <5 minutes of activity on your part
2 - you eat less after about a year of eating real food. a lot less in fact my stomach shrank
3 - learn some self control and taper off the between meal snacks and swap up from carb to protein snacks
