My entire highschool life was.
>come to class
>teacher writes something on the board
>tells us to copy what they wrote in our books
>explains whats what he wrote

But why did they make us just copy the entire board instead of telling us to take notes of the info we learned? And you could not leave the class room if you did not copy the entire bored.

At the end of every term the teachers will take our note books to verify that we copied all the info, before exams, copying notes was part of the grading system.

What fucking crack were these teachers smoking back in the day? jesus i get anxiety from writing with pen and paper now days. Was this some humiliation habitual ?
