sure but there's a ton of goyim out there who are going to liquidate. they price will rise until they have pulled from market all they need and then the price will fall again. you can hold all you want but they'll never allow it to truly appreciate, they'll pump it until the weak hand goys liquidate and they reach the quota they need and control of supply and then they'll crash it again for another 30 year cycle. you can't beat the guy who can print endless currency as too many other goys have sweaty palms

the silver market is one of the most highly manipulated one in history
that being said, who the fuck do you think controls the crypto markets? the same fucking driving forces and players

that stability is GONE
silver is an industrial metal with a variety of usecases and increasing demand with few avenues for fulfilling, our current supply is majorly recycling and from various other sources during mining

Futures price influences spot price and vice versa. When a commodity gets a futures market, it's like when a country first invites jews in.
>>
I had a ton of silver and I sold it when it was 68. And I dont care if it goes to 100 or rock bottom. This with gold and silver is just the same as with crypto. Its pump and dump. Its always been like this and will continue to be like this. If shit goes up 20-30-40% over a very short period of time everyone should not think this is something that will go skyhigh. It happened with Bitcoin and with some other assets, but that is once or a handful of times in history (nothing compare to bitcoin of course)
But people world wide buy silver and gold like crazy and buys at the wrong time. I have had my silver for over 17 years so I didnt lose anything on it. But people buying like crazy now will lose ton of money doing so.

When the spot price is this volatile the premium on a futures starts to split away from the spot price so severely that they're basically two different realities at this point. The charts people are looking at are showing spot price that is the right now price, and then everybody's talking about it as if it makes any sense in terms of stocks or crypto or futures or options. It doesn't except that premiums will be absurd.

People making 100TB NAS rigs probably use HDDs but the real issue here is that NAND production is going to drop soon as the companies switch to RAM manufacturing and there's also a general supply crunch of silicon wafers for memory production. If you get NAND flash you can easily format the drives in a way that dramatically increases their longevity to match enterprise drives. Its just a matter of leaving 10% of the drive unformated and unallocated. If you're looking for apocalypse proof rigs this is what you do. With hard drives any time the power goes for even a few minutes it causes problems as they should ideally never stop spinning. With NAND, its not nearly as big of a deal.

You have completely failed to understand the role monetary metals play in the economy. Like many other retards in this thread, you seem to be laboring under the misconception that silver and gold are investments.

You saw the price go up and you thought your investment had appreciated and then you sold it. But that's not what happened. The value of silver and gold are relatively flat that is why they are considered to be monetary metals. When you see the price of gold go up that is not an indication that gold has become more valuable it is an indication that the dollar has become less valuable. The actual buying power of a given amount of gold and silver is relatively stable over centuries and even millennia.

Trading in your silver or gold for fiat currency while the price is rising is among the most retarded things that you can do. You've exchanged a stable asset for rapidly depreciating debt based fiat.

There's not a shortage of gold. There's a shortage of silver.
If there's a supply shortage of silver, it's just supply and demand. Now, whether the price is reflective of the real supply shortage, that's a different story.
Both are going up, but silver is going up faster for a reason.

it's 7 years, after that the cells become unstable (this is science, you can read the scientific literature on lithium batteries yourself). They may not begin to fail for another few years, but past this point "repairing" cells is just replacing one failed cell and leaving hundreds that may randomly fail next. PAPER IS DEAD!

And yes that includes the dollar!

It amazes me how little people know what’s going on with silver yet are COMPELLED to comment on it right now.

>Apple did 3am raids on Swiss vaults paying a 600% markup for immediate possession and still came up short of its needed quota.

>HSBC has been caught red handed with empty vaults of been unallocated AND allocated silver- someone will be jailed for this, there’s been massive misreporting of their stocks. Their vaults are EMPTY. It’s unheard of fraud.

>The US Fed has already done a reported $25 million bailout for the bullion banks

>JPMorgans watches has been soldered and whittled into by desperate tech companies.

These companies DIDN’T KNOW THEY HAD A SILVER PROBLEM UNTIL NOVEMBER/DECEMBER. If you think there’s a clean way out of this where the fiat system stays in tact, you’re kidding yourself.

PAPER IS DEAD!
GET IT THROUGH YOUR THICK SKULLS, THIS JEW MAGIC FRACTIONAL RESERVE PRINCIPAL SYSTEM IS A COROSE FLOATING DOWN A RIVER.

There’s already noises in the copper market, this is moving into base metals. The BRICS bloc will keep attacking the paper markets until this entire shitshow has no pulse.
Price discovery on every commodity in the world could be coming.

>When the spot price is this volatile the premium on a futures starts to split away from the spot price so severely that they're basically two different realities at this point.
This violates the no arbitrage assumption, the future should be roughly S*exp(rT), where r is the risk free rate minus the cost to store/borrow the commodity and T is time till expiration. If it diverges too much from this, then the market is grossly inefficient and there is free money (either by buying spot and selling the future or by selling short spot and buying the future + treasuries).

>>
>>524546960

Still though, you can't brush the price of gold doubling in one quarter, while the price of silver nearly quadruples.
The powers-that-be know something we don't, and the price of precious metals confirms as much.
>>
>>524547080
>The powers-that-be know something we don't
Brother I think you're the only person here that don't realize that these price moves are happening because of the data center and solar panel industries fighting over the silver while having infinite amounts of money at their disposal because they're both riding on the AI boom.
>>
>>524547080
There’s no conspiracy anon.
Central banks including the US Fed are in a do or die race to accumulate PMs, everyone is abandoning treasuries.

The USA is seeing INFLOWS of gold that hasn’t been seen at such levels since WW2.

It open and clear why this is happening, with central banks alone.
Then you have the industrially hunger for silver, including military needs.
You’ve got the new PM back BRICS international settlement system which will be PM backed by vaults around the globe.

Retail demand from boomers etc, isn’t making a dent in either gold or silver, the amounts are too small to impact huge price shifts like this.

In summary its (((central banks.))) /Pol/ was right again
