>>524541350>Is anti-semitism a sin in the bibleI think the idea is that ''Satan'' is the spirit of anti or enemy or hostility or ''to be against'', while ''Christ'' is the spirit of for or advocate or ''to be for''.>If this is true, most of /pol/ is going to hell.That's going to be hard with a ''bible'' framework as at the end of revelation God throws death, hell, Satan, and the beast (human body) into a magic fire and destroys them and this is known as the 2nd death and replaces them with a new world that has no suffering. Probably not going to be easy for others to ''be in hell'' if God destroys it at the end of the book and replaces it with an existence devoid of suffering.One would only assume that ''fire'' also isn't like a fire here but probably more something like love since it tortures Satan. (something that tortures the spirit of being against is probably for rather than against just on the basis of what would make the very concept of being against suffer or be something it hates) i.e. the whole idea that Jesus and the apostles as per Paul were not fighting against man or flesh and blood but wicked principles. They were not saying to hate your enemy or destroy him, but rather to fight Satan, you love your enemy, you diminish ''the enemy'' by having no enemy. To see God in others and to love God, just as God is in you. Like one of God's sons or daughters to recognize not an enemy, but a family member who has not realized what is inside them or inside you.And ultimately to be willing to die for the sake of this war. To be willing to want something better for yourself and others because you actually give a shit.At least that's what I got from it, a bunch of other stuff in there to. Some stuff that I don't really get and seems kinda hyppocritical but I think it was supposed to be that way. *shrugs*
