Deadline for negotiations: 3 days. The SDF and STG have had negotiations about integration for months by now. The discussions have apparently not lead to anything. The deadline for negotiations is coming closer and closer.22nd of December, 2025, Aleppo, several civilians were wounded and at least 4 died, during fighting between SDF and STG.STG claimed SDF shot carelessly and hit civilians. Some pro-STG even claimed SDF directly went for murdering civilians.SDF forces claimed that STG forces shot at parts of Aleppo, Sheikh Maksud, Kurdish neighborhood, and kept it under siege for several days or longer.>They attack our people in Sheikh Maksoud and Ashrafiyya [Aleppo] every daySDF later gave an order for their forces not to retaliate against being shot at by STG forces, for the sake of de-escalation.Is this pretext for war? Did STG agitate SDF to get a casus belli and to turn the population and the international community against SDF? Jews and STG are very active on subreddits, Jews hoping to stoke death and harvesting the yields of division and conquest, STG seeking to decrease international support for SDF, SDF seeking to increase international support for itself.Turkey and STG 22nd of December, 2025, had a diplomatic press conference, they expressed being closely aligned, and both parties expressed willingness to use force against common enemies. For anyone not deep into it:SDF is the Kurdish-led semi-state in North-Eastern Syria. There are claims of Israel supporting them, which would make sense as Israel plays out the different sides against each other.STG is the primarily Sunni-Arab Islamist winner of the Syrian civil war, and had some massacres against Alawites and Druze. Their leader, Ahmed al-Sharaa, is likely a Jewish-controlled golem. Also, the video is from months ago, in the south of Syria, not near Aleppo nor SDF, apparently committed by STG-aligned forces.
News 2025-12-28:After a bombing at a mosque 2025-12-26 murdering at least 8 people, possibly targeted primarily at Alawites https://www.cbsnews.com/news/syria-mosque-bombing-homs-alawite/, an Alawite leader called a protest, including in Latakia. The protest attracted counter protesters, and STG forces were present, supposedly to keep the protest non-violent. The protest turned violent, with STG, pro-government protesters, and Alawite protesters, accusing each other or different groups, of causing or even planning violence. One STG soldier was killed and several others were killed. Both protesters and counter-protesters were seen walking around with firearms. STG army later entered Latakia, including with armored vehicles, and seemingly succeeding at restoring order. One Alawite leader that called for the protest was arrestes, despite the original aim of the protest supposedly was to be peaceful.News 2025-12-26:>Limited shootings between STG and SDF forces in Aleppo, both sides accuse the other of starting it.News 2025-12-23:>Pro-SDF:>https://x.com/Ciwan_berxwedan/status/2003529166428258376>Syrian military and security forces have completely blocked the main entrance to Sheikh maqsoud neighbourhood
If you take either side: Israel will ensure that neither side "wins", while Israel takes more and more. Welcome to being divided and conquered.
I do not consider it good that one of the Alawite leaders encouraging the protest was arrested. The bombing of Alawites in a mosque means that Alawites are being murdered in daily, civil life, and thus they have genuine reasons to be fearful for losing their lives. And there have been ethnic strife chants, or "sectarian", chants against them. Being able to call protests and bring attention to their plights is one outlet and communication measure that they have. Though such should of course actually be peaceful.STG needs to figure something out such that the Alawites can genuinely be secure. If not federalism, then something else. International peacekeepers? A local national guard consisting primarily of ethnic Alawites, but under the strict supervision of STG?In the aftermath of WW2, there was both deportations, ethnic cleansing and land swaps of various kinds.
Bump.
