Zelensky takes money from the EU and now claims that it is reparations from Russia. xD

https://x.com/ZelenskyyUa/status/2005633105583862118

But the truth is that if Ukraine doesnt pay these loans, Europeans will, not Russians. These loans are raised by borrowing on capital markets and backed by the EU budget, not directly from frozen Russian assets because this more ambitious "reparations loan" plan failed due to objections, mainly from Belgium. The EU hesitated to directly confiscate Russias 210bln euro frozen central bank assets due to legal violations of sovereign immunity, retaliatory seizures by Moscow, and risks to Euroclear/Belgium from lawsuits. But the primary fear was eroding global investor confidence in the euro and EU financial hubs, prompting foreign capitals (from China, Saudi Arabia etc) to withdraw trillions, potentially triggering massive capital flight and severe economic instability of eurozone. Last years are a huge show of EUs industrial/military weakness and it was a show of economic/financial weakness.

Ukraine is not obligated to repay the loan until/unless Russia pays formal war reparations which means _never_. So in practice Europoors fund it entirely xD

exactly right, and flight from EU will be into US market mostly, so nbd here.

europe caused this war and they can then pay for it. europe should make peace with itself. europe is fighting europe still trying to start ww over bad currencies since no more colonies.
>>
So Zelensky is not even apologizing for missing three 600 million dollar intrest.payments to the EU (that he agreeded to) for the 4th year in a row this coming march.
Bye bye EU pension funds
>>
>>524567169
>exactly right, and flight from EU will be into US market mostly,

Thats why Biden was insisting so hard on the EU confiscating Russian assets, meanwhile Trump wants to turn them into Russian-American investment fund that also erodes eurozone credibility by signaling political interference in sovereign assets xD

even if this guy gets assassinated and replaced, the retards in EU will keep warmongering
>>
>>524567725
yes. international politics involving the EU pretty much always just involve handing it a gun and telling it that shooting itself in the head will own the Chuds.
they are guaranteed to go along with it 10 out of 10 times.

Never. Gods chosen overlords shall not be touched.

Euro-Atlantic mutual ball-licking is a relic of the Cold War. At present, empires are entering a brutal game over limited resources, where only the law of force matters. Both the US of A and Russia, and to some extent China as well, want Europe to remain a conglomerate of atomized countries, mutually conflicted, deindustrialized, where people grow cucumbers rather than produce electric cars or smartphones. In the end, we probably wont even be able to produce cucumbers after signing the Mercosur deal. xD

So basically we got another Poland on our hands.
Great.
>>
>>524569459
>So basically we got another Poland on our hands

Much-much worse, actually. Poland received 160 bln euro net EU funds over 21 years (2004-2025). Ukraine received >300bln euro total international aid (military, financial, humanitarian) since 2022, far exceeding Polands in absolute terms and intensity. Ukraine remains highly corrupt, extremely poor, war-torn, with budget 100% dependent on foreign aid. Poland is opposite: low corruption, relatively prosperous with functional economy that can feed the country. Ukraine risks perpetual aid dependency without reforms, plus creates serious probability of dragging feminized, weak and degenerate European hedonists/consumers into a larger war.
>>
>>524570097
>>300bln euro

BTW, the 300 bln figure (actually 400 bln euro committed per Kiel Institute up to late 2024/early 2025) does not include this latest 90-100 bln EU loan agreed for 2026-2027 disbursements.

So in fact, it is 500 bln euro now. And there is no end in sight xD
>>
>>524566772
The EU itself is also issuing bonds (borrowing) to fund 'EU defense' which EU governments (German govt) will be on the hook for.

>loans
LMAO
Reminder before this blew up, Ukraine already defaulted on a $3 billion loan from Russia. They simply didn't pay it back, and instead immediately started taking another loan from the IMF this time
It's massive black hole for $$$

The difference is that you can visit Poland and see the EU investments paying dividends somewhere.
Ukraine is rotten to the core and on top of that being bombed by the Russians.
It's like giving a blood transfusion to a patient who is still bleeding to death.

>>
>>524574284
You are Ivan if you refuse. Ruska onuca, simply. The very last thing Russians want is big fresh reserves for the Polish army. Last 35 years was living in paradise of prosperous capitalist Poland, now time has come to pay the security bill, and it is not about money because you cant really print soldiers xD

Union of European Socialist Republics is just a spiritual successor of Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, so he's kinda right.

I am sick of giving loans to fucking criminals. Fuck the ukraine. More than HALF will be stolen by the low IQ savages. Its no wonder they are broke and destitute and Russians have a far higher quality of life. Fucking 3 decades of letting ukrainians scam the west. Sick of it. Ukraine should absolutely not exist. They have time and time again demonstrated they cant handle it
>>
>>524573970
If Putin got what he wanted it would be something like the restoration of the Warsaw Pact but without commie bullshit. You can see deep down he despises most of the Bolsheviks despite his Soviet boomerism. The idea Russians would rather want a destroyed Poland than a Poland on their side ultimately paying taxes to Moscow instead of Brussels/Washington seems childish to me.

Now I seriously doubt Putin "will get what he wants" in his lifetime but just my two shekels.

> europe caused this war
How did Europe cause this war? Germanic-Slavic friendship is the worst nightmare of Anglo states so they do everything in their power to prevent it. EU governments do as they are told by American embassies, this is why the are buying expensive LNG from Americans instead of using the existing natural gas pipelines which the American government is actively destroying btw.
>>
>>524566772
This just means we need to send money to Ukraine zigger.

>give money to worthless criminals who have NEVER been not been corrupt

Yeah miss me with that. They signed their own death certificate by being corrupt pieces of shit. They could have repelled russia if they hadnt stolen all the money provided to them in the last 30 years. Its fucking disgusting we are being forced to pay for criminals to get rich AGAIN. Your probably a draft dodging ukrainian anyways

Ukraine wasnt so bad until it started kicking against Russia and letting itself be used by the USA as a proxy tool to pressure Russia. Immigration from Ukraine to Poland before 2014 was very small, almost zero. The accelerated impoverishment of Ukraine began with the jumping on the Maidan and the anti-government revolution, which triggered the war, capital flight, rapidly growing corruption, and oligarchization. It was the West that ultimately enabled this, accepted it, and financed it. Now its a complete tragedy because 100% of Ukraines budget comes from foreign aid, and this whole mess is only getting worse as they lose the war.

Poland is currently on a similar trajectory. Once Ukraine is finished, Bolanda will nominally step into its shoes. Either the West surrenders and pays Russia with the interests of Eastern Europe in exchange for peace.

The EU is actually playing 5d chess here. It's wanted eurobonds for a long time, but the US via its Germanic vassals balked at it for the longest time
Now under cover of the Ukraine war, eurobonds are here, and the eurozone has finally taken the first step toward a bondmarket as deep and liquid as the US. This will in fact completely change the global financial system, and actually challenge dollar hegemony. And there's nothing mutts can do about it
>>
>>524566801
you will have to pay reparations for the murders and destruction you did to ukraine, you will!!! or else there is no justice and that is IMPOSSIBLE in 21st century, so you will have to pay for what you did to them, YOU WIIL!!!!
>>
>>524578794
Maybe euro bonds will be used to institute federal taxes if you don't have those already. As far as I know the eu gets money from the members instead of the citizens directly.
Having the power to tax and the power to have it's own army are critical for the eu becoming a power block.
Granted neither the USA or Russia want this
>>
Based King Zelly.
Pay up Europoors
>>
>>524579402
Good point, the EU is indeed trying to pool sovereign debt risk without a centralized treasury. Like an anti-federalist US might have been. I don't know that it's ever been tried before, but I see no reason why it couldn't work
