Why do so many middle/old aged men work as waiters in Europe? Aren't those men have nothing better to do with their life? Don't they feel embarrassed being treated like servants and and doing a teenage girl job? I worked as a bartender in a cigar bar. You have no fucking clue how much cash a Russian oligarch can leave on the table after a dinner or for doing small favors like ordering a table somewhere, arranging them a car or a call girl. These old guys waiting in high end restaurants are making an absolute bank. A table can easily spend thousands on drinks alone.
