Why didnt you start stacking RAM at the start of last year. It vastly outperformed silver
>>
>>524572377
I had several new PC I put together, but now I've disassemble and sold the ram for twice what I originally was gonna sell the PC for.
>>
>>524572377
last time im going to post this.

xbox series S: 10gb DDR6 ram
cost: 499

10gb DDR6 ram with post AI price increase: 600-700 dollars.

thats a profit on average of 150 dollars PER XBOX.

ive made 6700 in the last 3 weeks just buying all the xboxes from my local targets/walmarts and stripping the ram our.

what even runs DDR6? I bought 128GB DDR5 for my main PC last year and set some sticks aside but didnt "stack" anything aside from crippling anxiety and health issues
>>
>>524573058
GPU is the only thing on the market that uses GDDR6. That I know of.

That's not the same thing. DDR6 isn't slated for release until 2027.
>>
>>524573058

I'd guess it's a joke copy pasta to get people to waste their money and time buying xbox w\ DDR6, stripping it out, and then finding out there's no motherboard to use it with.

I smell BS, Chat is this true?
Console RAM ≠ retail RAM

Yes, the Series S has 10 GB of GDDR6, but:

It is soldered BGA memory, not DIMMs or modules.

It is custom-binned, low-profile, console-specific memory.

You cannot resell it as “10 GB GDDR6” in any normal market.

There is no legitimate buyer paying $600–700 for:

Desoldered,

Used,

Unknown-bin,

Unpackaged GDDR6 chips.

It is shared memory for GPU and CPU, useless really in any other setting. Even if you could remove the memory chip itself I can't see any use case for it. I'm not even sure it qualifies as VRAM which is still at normal price.

>why didn't you just predict the highly specific way humanity would fuck up THIS week?
gee

Also makes no sense. They would simply cluster them together as intact machines, like they did with PS3s a while back.
>>
>>524574474
the post I replied to (not you btw) specifically mentions stripping out the RAM
>>
>>524572734
Nice. I bought DDR7 sticks from my recent Labubu console haul last week from Target/Walmart. Each console was $250 and I was able to break even selling the DDR7 RAM for $350 a piece. AI has been making me $8200 per month.
>>
>>524574355
Thank you for clarifying that.
>>

Did you know that the amount of RAM one could purchase with a full time minimum wage job in 1971 would be worth less than a penny now? Clearly minimum wage is too high as is demonstrated by the current value of RAM in terms of minimum wage.

> Buy up shtton of RAM to resell it x3-x5 later
> wow imma so shmart duh
> No one buys it from you, everyone's waiting for prices to drop.
> Prices eventually drop (who would have thought)
> You end up with piles of outdated RAM plates of previous generation, which only gramps and hobos buy.

>>524572734
kek I could see at least one retard buying an xbox because of this post right now. You should try this one on /biz/ for even better results.
>>
>>524577085
If scalpers didn't make money then no one would do it.
>>
I always miss out on this kind of shit. I wish I knew what would be the next valuable thing to start stacking.
>>
>>524577852
If I was a mutt I'd stack realistic dolls and oniholes. Those could be worth millions of dollars.
>>
>>524572377
Because im not a hoarding jewish jeweler
>>
>>524572377
Who wouldve thought a transformed manufactured product holds more value than a midrange precious metal. Color me surprised
>>
>>524572377
my old ram works fine
>>
>>524572377

When AI buddle bursts prices will drop down hard because too much capacity to produce chips has been built. Might take 2-3 years or even more but eventually it happens. If I upgrade my hardware next year do doing it on minimum budget.
>>
>>524572377
>Why didnt you start stacking RAM
im not in the insider trading circle sadly...
