>>524576812There is no such thing as separation between church and state. Every single american and founding father during the colonial period read the bible and believed in some form of God. They all prayed and believed in a biblical morality. Doesn't make sense that they would institute such an idea since most early americans were religious zealots fleeing religious persecution. The institution of separation between church and state would itself contradict the very reason why they fled europe in the first place because in order to separate the church and state you would by necessity need the government invovled in matters of church and faith. You would need the government telling people not to pray which again doesnt make sense because they were all religious or sympathetic to religion. And sure enough the first ever mention of separation between church and state doesn't show up until many many years after the founding of the nation in some personal correspondence between jefferson and a friend. And even then it's not even the main subject being discussed, it's just mentioned in an off hand manner and it's not even advocated by Jefferson. But if you read or hear separation between church and state being mentioned by atheists and liberals, you would think its in the US constitution BUT IT IS NOT. Reject it in any way shape and form.
