First of all how do you define intelligence? Intelligence is a very broad term, it can be in various fields. Is it recognition? Abstract thinking? Acquiring knowledge?So if intelligence is vague, how can we trust IQ tests as a measurement for our intelligence? One can be bad at something but good at something else. If I'm not good at maths it doesn't make me unintelligent, I can be good at art.

For example,one can be good at math and arts and the other can be good at nothing. Having a high IQ means you're good at certain things, and unless the low IQ people can prove they are exceptionally good at something that is not capture by IQ (they often are not, really talented people at pretty much anything have at least average IQ), then its more likely to assume they are really just dumb.
