If AI works already, why do they need to build giant data-centers to make AI work?
>>524588780its in its infancy stupidit needs to be nurtured and studied
more data needs more power
Blowing bubbles to try to recoup the billions already invested. It's much better to owe the bank 100 billion rather than a few million. Always be doubling down.
>>524588780>If AI works alreadyNot as well as they'd like it to>why do they need to build giant data-centers to make AIIn order to make it work better, they need compute which is what data centers offer
>>524588780it needs a lot of ram to 247 monitor each person on earth and processing and detecting thought crime
>>524588780They will use the AI brain to study the AI brain.
>>524588891Fpbp
need to make it AIer, try to reach the AIest AI
>>524588780The more power they have the bigger the models can get.
>>524588780Deepseek already showed that AI in its current state can be made to run on less intensive hardware. The reason the west actively tries to prevent talking about models like Deepseek isn't just because "the AI race" but because people like Sam Altman, and the Nvidia Chink don't have that much money invested in AI. In fact word has it that they actively tell friends and family to minimize investments in AI.They are heavily invested in the hardware needed to make AI work or the tools/companies that promise to protect you from Deepfakes or flag AI content. So the US is being propped up by businessmen (or in Altman's case a conman), who are invested in AI never working the way it's been promised, but needing endless resources to reach that promised point.
>>524588780>why do they need to build giant data-centerscurrent AI works off of datasets frozen in time.soon we go into the greatest war of all time, the datasets will be fluid, need more compute power for that
>>524588780Doubling down on that sunk cost. There too arrogant to admit they failed.
