American religion promises to make you rich and heal your diseases if you sow a seed of faith and donate your life (and money) to Christ. We have flashy new buildings and pop songs, which in some rural parts of the country are the only thing on the radio.European religion is about old people in old buildings. They may have a parade once a year that people go to because ir's a tradition, and old ladies might drink tea in the basement as a social thing.
