I’m a NEET who receives 1k in gibs from the government every month and I live with my parents so I don’t have any expenses. Should I invest my money or something? Into what?

>>524600739>how do i do thatfirst you need money, you can accumulate some money by collecting welfare and just waiting while not spending much.you could also get a job and make some money. you use the money to buy assets.>with zero experience about investing with real money into anythingthat part is called "doing your own research". you basically keep asking yourself questions and then come up with answers to it. for example "how money work?" then you google or read books until you find a good answer thats sufficient enough for you, then you move on to the next questions, like what kind of assets you want to invest in, what goals you have, what lifestyle you want and then adjust your strategy accordingly.eventually you will have made a nice fortune and then just manage your risk and keep it minimum so you can continue doing whatever it is you want to do with your life besides money.

>>5246021141k a month is quite a lot when you consider the fact that most people work paycheck to paycheck and he has no expenses. Saving up for just 3 years is enough fo put a deposit on a house
>>524602267What specific ETF do you recommend?
>>524600503Go all in on crypto and tax evade. I know that with gibs, the government typically reduces the amount they give you the more money you have saved up. If you invest it all into gold, stocks, etc. the government will know and will deduct your payments
>>524602241he doesnt have onegermans are all wageslaving for the big globohomo
>>524602398I won't say exactly, but look for ones that have held their nav price or even increased, pay dividends monthly, and are at least 8% apy. Jp Morgan has two that are half the entire options market. Global X and neos have some too. Some are going with the same covered call method but no dividend and dumping into share price. Avoid newer funds as it's a newer instrument but some have been doing just fine for 15 years now like jp Morgan and global X.
>>524600503>90% into ticker:SPY>10% into short term bondswarren buffet strategy will do better than any advice anyone else will give you
The only things worth investing in are stocks, bonds, real estate, metals, cryptocurrencies, and collectibles. You don’t have enough income for collectibles or real estate and while you could buy stocks and bonds, the sort of return you can expect with what you have is just not that good. That leaves metals and cryptocurrencies. So buy gold, silver, bitcoin, aetherium.
>>524601211you have no worthwhile advice. just yapping.>hurr durr do your research>start a business!no practical advice and the "business" larp. i know you live with mother.
>>524602494Thank you. Ive been using Schwabs provided funds and not impressed
>>524600925Not if you buy from any of the larger retailers. Of course OP could at most hope to walk away with less than three oz a year. I'd put money into riskier assets if I had so little.
>>524602616Yeah, that's less than half what covered calls can do. Financial managers only look at the nav and see little movement in a decade missing the thing is 100% dividend the past decade. Ones on the nasdaq index probably aren't volatile enough. Covered call relies on volatility
Ignore all the advice these financially illiterate retards give you here. Put 90% into a dividend fund(example: wkn: a2pltb , just Google that) Santander bank or dkb. And use 5% for metal you like and 5% for cash savings in case you need money so you don't need to sell your stocks. and do not ever sell unless you are old or multimillionaire, thats faster than u think.you can use a compound interest calculator online to see for yourself. to know why its the best way also understand what compound interest is.

>>524600503Don't you have to be in training or jobhunting or something or they kick you off SSI?
>>524602884That's a euro memeflaggot, but in the US it depends. There's supplement disability based on your income and resources and disability based on being unable to work to varying degrees.
>>524600503Investing 1 k is meaningless. You should use it to improve your immediate life. Buying a gun so you can kill enemies, buying flowers so you can make your mother happy etc.
>>524602603>hurr durr do your researchthis is valid advice, if you never do your research you will never find out what you want to invest into.remember every investor is different, everyone has different lifegoals and a different lifestyle in mind. investing and running a business isnt just copy pasting what other people do.>start a business!ideally you start a business that you are personally interested in.
>>524600503First and foremost - what are the conditions for receiving the money? Is it unemployment or disability? I mean would know if you are allowed to work while receiving it. If you are then you should most definitely should work and save as much money as possible Put 70% aside each month, period. From there you can decide what to do with it. I'd say use it largely on your education. In this day and age you need marketable skills to even find a stable 40 hours a week job. If you live in the states you are more in luck as there are more opportunities for learning skills such as certifications. If you have decent enough reading comprehension you learn how to read earning reports and then do pre-market day trading. Regardless if you're American - you would still need 30 to $40K in a brokerage account to day trade blue ship stocks. It all works out could become something of a nomadic venture capitalist because at that point it wouldn't matter how many passports you have. You could just hop from one country to another every month, two or three months (whatever the visitation limit is for the country you're visiting) and once you accumulate enough money you could then buy yourself an exotic passport.Alternatively if you have a bad relationship with your parents then you should most definitely use that money to move the fuck out as soon as possible. I should have done that myself and now I have a criminal record for that mistake.
>>524603382I can’t work
>>524603704Depending on what the wages are for entry level jobs - I'd say it would be better to work. Of course if you're living in a Europoor country where the minimum wage is more or less a cool stack then stay on the gibs.As long as you have free time you can always better yourself. There are people working full time jobs living paycheck to paycheck who wish they had the time you had. That's is also largely why you should save up as much money as you can. In case shit hits the fan you'll have some emergency funds. Try save at least $10k.My point is don't be a bum.
>>524601473>open an account with a place that does electronic trading (schwabs, ally, etc)>all can be done online without talking to anyone and its completely free>once its approved and opened, go to the transfer section and request to send money from your bank (called an ACH transfer). Extremely easy and again all automatic, no people involved unless they deny you for some reason>despite being electronic and instant you will still have to wait a few days due to a jewish concept called "float period">once the money is ready, go to the trading section. You will want to buy shares of either VOO or VGT. These are what are known as ETFs, and they try to invest evenly into either the S&P500 or NASDAQ stocks respectively. That means you are investing into tons of different companies at once, limiting your gains but also limiting your risk. I would argue that it actually completely eliminates risk because the indexes have always risen higher and higher over the long term, as they should because of never ending inflation, and if they actually do crash to zero, society is probably so fucked that money will be the least of your concernsThat's all you have to do. Keep buying more and more shares of either index and over time you will make money. Its the most brain dead and safe strategy with the effort to reward ratio being absolutely ridiculous. You would have to put in an extreme amount of research and effort to get even a little more gains. Whenever you actually want to cash out and use the money, just click "sell share" instead of "buy". Money will go into your account and you transfer it to your bank, just like you did when putting the money in.
