If you use GDP or quantity of money in the world as a denominator then Trump's buying power went down between 2022 and today, because yes granted he has 6 billion instead of 3 billion, but there was more than that in real currency inflation. He could buy a whole lot more shit with that 3 billion in 2022 than he could now with 6 billion in 2025. The amount of money in the world is increasing at a geometric rate. 3 Billion could purchase a city on mars back in the year 2000, but today in 2025, six billion dollars won't even buy you a city square in manhattan on the slummy side of town. They're asking 30 billion, which is up from asking for a billion 20 years ago.
