The last time this happened this way, where an overarching matriarchy was challenged by a patriarchy, was in the yamnaya conquest. Basically, if women create a matriarchy you have two endings: 1. The birthrate collapses so hard that women's rights and economic access are stripped (most likely)2. Somehow the culture is able to brainwash men to accept matriarchy, and an outside force eventually genocides the matriarchy. So women either become subjects to the father and the husband again (option A), or become breeding stock for genocidal Chad conquerors (option B). As it deeply arouses women, they will lean towards option B. As we would all be enslaved or killed, us men lean towards option A. To each their own I guess
