Two major nurses associations are applauding the Trump administration’s move to federally reschedule marijuana, which they say will pave the path for expanded research into the potential health benefits of cannabis if the rule is finalized.“Rescheduling cannabis to Schedule III advances public health by expanding access to rigorous research, supporting evidence-informed clinical care, and reinforcing patient safety through regulated study and oversight,” ANA—which also cheered the initial reclassification recommendation from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) under the Biden administration—said.“ANA supports the President’s executive order rescheduling cannabis from a Schedule I to a Schedule III substance under the Controlled Substances Act,” it said. "This action reflects scientific review and acknowledges evidence demonstrating that cannabis has accepted medical use and a safety profile consistent with Schedule III classification.”Two major nurses associations are applauding the Trump administration’s move to federally reschedule marijuana, which they say will pave the path for expanded research into the potential health benefits of cannabis if the rule is finalized.Representatives of AANA, meanwhile were invited to attend the signing ceremony in the Oval Office when Trump issued the cannabis order. The association’s president, Jeff Molter, said in a statement that “reclassification will expand opportunities for rigorous research into how cannabis and cannabinoids can provide pain relief, and how they interact with anesthesia and perioperative care, strengthening the science that underpins patient safety.”>https://www.marijuanamoment.net/major-nurses-associations-applaud-trumps-marijuana-rescheduling-move-saying-it-could-open-doors-to-critical-research/
It means big pharma sells pot at huge mark up after the current growers and sellers are driven out of the market.
I work in an ER in Michigan and since it became legal, cannabis psychosis has gone through the roof.
>>524615994Probably this, but I can see homegrowing becoming more popular like "home distilled liquor" due to the reduced penalties.
>>524615994>and the corporations are all being corporationy
>using an executive order for something like thisnot his job and this should have gone through congress. this is more miggering to shove power to the executive branch and cut out congress.
>>524615994As long as I can make you pay for my weed that is ok
>>524616055From January 1, 2019 to December 30, 2025 there has been a 13% decrease in drunk driving accidents in Michigan. Gee what a coincidence!A drunk driver runs a stop sign. A stoned driver waits for it to turn green.
>>524615928Of course the nurses applaud it.All nurses want to do is get high on weed do dance videos and give out double handis to guys like me.
>>524616899Yeah right. They're all hooked on Adderall etc. Seriously. I've listened to them talk.
>>524616484>turn green>stonedThere's better joke to be had I'm sure.
>>524615928I spent a month in the hospital this year and had a dozen different nurses. I'm convinced it's a 90-something IQ career. Males nurses are more efficient than women, but as a male patient I still preferred the incompetent women. One smelled amazing.
>>524617172Wut no. Have you never heard that before? Its like 30 years old. You can make a new one but you're not gonna improve on that I promise. But feel free to try. I did one that's kinda similar and not especially funny but still relatable. A stoned driver will get completely lost just 2 blocks from their home but they'll do it completely safely. I also wrote one about weight loss.
>>524617232I'm in Austin and I had a really good even experience all around. I was in for 6 full days so I may have had 10 nurses. I believe only 3 men and 2 only had one female nurse who seemed their age I assume under 25. And then the one guy probably over 40 seemed like a total closet case. The only people I maybe felt had 90 IQs were the cook and maid.
>>524617478I didn't mean 90-IQ as bad, just that it was a less demanding role than say a computer system admin or accountant. I'm in between Tampa and Orlando and I only saw my nurses once an hour even though the hospital I was at kept their patient load to about six or seven. I also only saw physicians once a day, but I did see them for more consecutive days without a break than I would have expected.
>>524616484Real alcoholics are the safest drivers, only casual drinkers and youths in general drive like idiots while under alcohol.
It's retarded, another gateway drug to fuck up the young. I guess if they can't afford houses homelessness will suffice.
>>524616055>I work in an ER in Michigan and since it became legal, cannabis psychosis has gone through the roof.Same in Oregon. Between that and meth psychosis, you have to stay on your toes when you're walking downtown in most of the west coast cities, even mid-size ones.
>>524615928all i care about is that the health care industry starts looking into using Cannabis and micro-dosing LSD/MDMA to help in the treatment of war veterans and persons with CPTSD/PTSD. Everything else is just fucking noise
>>524618506I have only ever bought cannabis legally and despite doing that for eight years I have never been exposed to any street drug. If anything being in the hospital and getting a dose of hydromorphone dilaudid was more seductive, but again I have no one to contact to obtain it.
>>524617292Based and wholesome joke teller anon, thank you
>>524616055>I work in an ER in Michigani don't believe you but thats cool
>>524618727Sure, that's you. And me. Are you everybody? I'm not. It's a numbers game, 13% percent niggers cause carnage, what are the mystery percentage added to the drug world going to do? Nobody saw an opioid crisis on the horizon and entire regions are in peril.
>>524618419I dont know about that but a study did just come out that statistically drivers with 1 or 2 drinks in them are safer than sober drivers. Apparently because they're paranoid about getting busted etc but still not too drunk to actually do something about it.
>>524619048lol
